How to unlock the ... & BENJI achievement in 10 Second Ninja X - Definitive Guide

Just so you know when and how to get this, is about where you unlock world 6, and its after the third time benji tries to help you but gets knocked out. it is part of the story and will pop auto while you play along

I think this is supposed to unlock the first time that benji joins you, but the achievements in this game are very glitchy

This unlocked for me when I unlocked world 3. So as you say, seems glitchy.

You will be forced to play through this story-related sequence once you have earned 36 stars.

After earning 36 stars, you’ll be prompted to go talk to Benji. Watch the dialogues and, upon leaving, Benji will decide to accompany you. The trophy will pop right after.
