How to unlock the STOP - HE'S ALREADY DEAD! achievement in 10 Second Ninja X - Definitive Guide

Edit: Finally uploading the clip after procrastinating on it for over a year. In the clip you can see me displaying the glitch.

This achievement is earned in the Nunnageddon mini-game. To unlock it, follow this guide.

10 Second Ninja XSecret AchievementThe Secret Achievement achievement in 10 Second Ninja X worth 101 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

Controls are on the back wall, so I feel I don't need to go over that.

Enemies
Zombies - Walk left or right across screen. 25 Points
Flying Zombies - Fly left or right across screen at jump or uppercut height. Uppercut height ones can drop bombs. 35 Points. Game wrongly displays 50. Bombs give 5 points.
Armored Zombies - Walk left or right across screen. Must hit head. 50 Points. Game wrongly displays 35.
Armored Flyers - Fly left or right at uppercut height. 35 Points. Game wrongly displays 50.

Doritos - There are little orange triangles that allow you to use a screen killing super once you have 5. If you save them every subsequent pickup gives you 500 points.

Now, my main reason for this guide is to tell of a trick I learned to cheat death. The game doesn't register a death until you hit the ground. So initially, you can cheat death by quickly popping a saved up super. However, this can be FURTHER exploited by slamming. If you slam into the ground after your super, and any other time you jump afterwards, the game still doesn't register your death. This buys you one more free heart at a minimum. You could last even longer if you manage to pull off another super.

I actually managed to get the 15k during a time I didn't use the glitch, but I'll post a video of the glitch once it's uploaded.

Achievement unlocks right when you hit 15k.

Yeah this is way fucking harder than the main game. That delay between moves just ruins it, this shit must have been made by an intern or something.

After trying to play Nunnageddon the way it was intended to, with actual strategy, I found the best method to stay alive and rack up points was to simply spam X and A together. When in the motion of punch or slam, you will destroy bombs and take down the armored zombies easily. I just kept spamming X and A together and kept sweeping across the screen. This will handle every enemy that can be taken out without an uppercut, while often making you invulnerable to bombs. When you use a super, it kills everything on the screen, which is good when the high flying enemies are just too numerous, but otherwise do not use super because it will restart the spawning of enemies and slow the speed at which you are gaining points. Before doing this methods, I was getting 10,000 points max, and after getting the hang of sweeping across only the bottom of the screen, I ended up with 17,000+, which apparently is 87 on the leaderboard.

awesome! I literally "turboed" A and X and just stood still for this. Thanks, tried many times without turbo and god damn it was hard.

This achievement is for scoring 15000+ on the game TOTC, which you unlock for finding all 9 pieces of the disc. Scoring 15000 is not too difficult, but will take a few tries. I recommend not using the power up for getting 5 of the collectibles, as by not using it, more enemies spawn, and further collectibles give 500 points. More enemies spawning allows for faster point gaining, and some good dashes across the screen can clean up the masses pretty nicely. I recommend dashing back and forth to clear the ground mobs as often as possible, and uppercutting when the ground is fairly clean to clear up some air space. You can also dash in mid air to clear out lots of flying enemies, but be aware that some of them have armor and will knock you out of the sky upon contact, normally resulting in taking damage below. I also highly recommend taking out the big enemies on the ground asap, as they stop you from cleaning up. You can do this by smashing from above, or if you're careful, an uppercut while near them will also take them out.

Once you get the 9 pieces of CD and put the disc in the arcade, you unlock a little mini game you can play at any time. You need to score 15,000 points in the game.

After fulfilling the requirements for the Think of the Children, you’ll be able to play the TOTC minigame in the “Greatbeard Arcade” room. Score 15000 points to earn this trophy.

The minigame can be tough at first but you’ll get the hang of it in a few tries. I’ll list some helpful reminders:

- pick up all orange gems you see: they fill a gauge at the bottom of the screen which unlocks a special attack that kills every enemy on the screen (press cn_L1 + cn_R1 to use it). Use this attack only when you are about to die or, more preferably, when you have scored 13000-14000 points to quickly get closer to those 15000 points. Keep in mind that any gem you pick up after filling the gauge will net you 500 points and this is the reason why you don’t want to use the special attack off the bat
- if the screen is crowded and you need to jump, hold cn_S for an uppercut instead of normally jumping: not only will you jump higher but you’ll also destroy any bullet from the above ships that may damage you
- while midair, never press cn_S and land by slamming (press cn_X while midair) and, if the ground is crowded, press cn_S once or twice upon landing: doing this will definitely help you stay out of harm’s way
- avoid bouncing off the armored enemies at all costs: if you punch or touch these enemies you’ll bounce off and you’ll likely be damaged by other enemies or bullets; either ignore these guys or kill them with an uppercut or by slamming while midair

Possibly glitched for Vita users. After fulfilling the requirements for the Think of the Children, you’ll be able to play the TOTC minigame in the “Greatbeard Arcade” room. Score 15000 points to earn this trophy.

The minigame can be tough at 1st but you’ll get the hang of it in a few tries. I’ll list some helpful reminders:

  • pick up all orange gems you see: they fill a gauge at the bottom of the screen which unlocks a special attack that kills every enemy on the screen (press + to use it). Use this attack only when you are about to die or, more preferably, when you have scored 13000-14000 points to quickly get closer to those 15000 points. Keep in mind that any gem you pick up after filling the gauge will net you 500 points and this is the reason why you don’t want to use the special attack off the bat;
  • if the screen is crowded and you need to jump, hold for an uppercut instead of normally jumping: not only will you jump higher but you’ll also destroy any bullet from the above ships that may damage you;
  • while midair, never press and land by slamming (press while midair) and, if the ground is crowded, press once or twice upon landing: doing this will definitely help you stay out of harm’s way;
  • avoid bouncing off the armored enemies at all costs: if you punch or touch these enemies you’ll bounce off and you’ll likely be damaged by other enemies or bullets; either ignore these guys or kill them with an uppercut or by slamming while midair.

If you are playing the Vita version and this trophy doesn't pop after scoring 15000 points, it should pop after you score 15000 points for the 2nd time.

The trophy is actually easier than passing any level in a marathon to rank X. The main thing is not to forget to use “ARMAGEDDON” in especially hot moments. Activated by pressing L+R.

For the first 6-7 thousand you can prevent the enemy from entering the middle of the screen at all. It is enough to alternate blows while on the ground. Running to the left, then to the right edge. After each hit on the ground, fly up to destroy those in the air. We land using a blow to the ground.
Thus, it is enough to simply get 15 thousand.
