if for any reason the progress stops counting like it did for me just keep killing them till you have all 10 complete and in ng+ after killing the first one you shoul have the achievement pop.

The, Pants, Party
There are a total of 10 Laestrygone enemies to defeat in the game, and they are marked by a huge skull on the map. I first came across one near the Dark Wood, and got murdered instantly without realizing what was happening. Since the game is somewhat open-world I explored a lot before moving the story to when you unlock the Vision Sight ability. By pressing 
, this ability will allow you to see things in the "other world" and also allows you to attack them. This ability is used to destroy the black smoke barriers, and will also allow you to see and attack these enemies. They hit very hard but have very predictable attack patterns, so take your time and just get in one hit and roll away, and repeat until dead.
