How to unlock the Apprentice Crafter achievement in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Definitive Guide
There are 3 different rarity values in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora:
- Fine (green)
- Superior (purple)
- Exquisite (gold/yellow)
So, Fine is your standard rarity, Superior is your rare rarity, and Exquisite is your super rare rarity. In order to unlock the ‘Apprentice Crafter’ trophy, you'll need to craft either a Superior piece of gear (armor) or weapon.
Now, the first thing you need to get are designs, AKA blueprints. You'll get these as mission rewards as you go, or alternatively, you can get them from certain individuals in the game's major hub areas (like the Hometree) - to find these individuals, just use your Na’vi Sense and look for the characters with blue outlines and go speak to them, and then tab across to designs.
What you'll need to do then is craft one. Finding the ingredients to make one is perhaps the most challenging aspect of this trophy, but it's not too hard. Just make sure you loot baskets and boxes when you can, but if you need something specific, just go to the Hunter's Guide and pin the material you need to find and follow the instructions for their location (always go to the rare location) - once they’re pinned they'll then show up with a yellow/gold outline when you use your Na’vi Sense in the open-world.
Once you've crafted a Superior (or Exquisite) piece of gear or a weapon, you'll unlock this trophy.
