How to unlock the Admiral achievement in Before We Leave - Definitive Guide
This achievement is for building 200 sailing ships, not spaceships.
I would suggest playing and completing most of the game and scenarios first before grinding out these last few achievements for building X amount of ships and settling 100 islands. Less grinding to get to that final number as I still had these achievements left to complete after completing the main game, all scenarios, and most other random achievements. These achievements are cumulative and do not needed to occur on a single game save.
For this one, I loaded up a save that had a well established island that was operating without problems, i.e., lack of food etc. This island needs a good supply of wood, tools, and power as well as peeps. My island had 50 peeps. You could do with less. I built 10 shipwrights all along the coast, one after the other. Obviously you will need an island with enough coastal space and road access to do this.
I queued up a Scout Ship in each of them. As they finished, I had them build another until the achievement popped. I personally only needed 30 to 40 ships to get to 200. Build as many or few shipwrights as you like, but the scout ship is the quickest and easiest sailing ship to produce.
NOTE: The scout ship can only be built at a basic shipwright. Once you upgrade a shipwright, you loose the ability to produce this ship.

If you don't have a save you can go for the scenario Apocalypse soon, plenty of ressources and all research done.
