I tried the save/load tip. I accidently hit rewind and decided to finish it that way. Works fine and easier to work through.

It’s even easier to watch the video walkthrough until the moment when Sarlacc has his last HP left, enter the game and save. Next, load the last level using the code K3CH, load the save and take the last shot at the boss. On the SNES version I got this trophy after doing this.
