To visit the Barn you need a "Barn Location"

You can get these from Crates or searching piles of "junk" in the Junkyard.
The piles kinda look like scrap metal. The Barn Location "part" will be listed first after you search the pile. There is only 1 Barn Location per visit to the junkyard. Click buy part then you can leave the Junkyard. So you can quickly make your way around the junkyard searching for the Barn Location just looking at the first position.

You receive these crates two different ways

1st way - After unlocking the Lucky Skill, you gain a 25% to get a crate for completing jobs

2nd way - After you get a Barn Location, you are guaranteed to have crate spawn in one of the piles of junk.

After you get a crate, open it and you have a 20% get a Barn Location.

Once you get a Barn Location, open your inventory and hit A on it.

Finally you can travel to the Barn.
