whew, cheers for this - I was so so stuck at the 27:00-ish part, the bit where trying to get the white orb shooting the green!

This will unlock upon defeating the final boss, toward the end of the game. This is the big black beetle-like boss that you'll have multiple little "fights" with, rather than one big one. These little battles consist of shooting diamond prisms within a set amount of time, and are quite simple. After completing three levels of shooting, you'll shoot a laser at it, which is enough for the first fight or two. For the others, you need to do a bit of hot potato with the explosive by pressing
each time the boss pushes it back at you. It might take a try or two to get the timing right, but there isn't much to these fights.
