There is one event called "Find the Gap" from the set that it will pop continously.
This one requires to go through the blue ring first, after locating it.
You can do it online, competing with other drivers but if from the menu you select "Play Offline", you will be alone around the levels without being bothered with other human being drivers.
One good level to pick is the "Forest", the blue ring is usually inside a place that you can reach easily going through a stunt ramp that is across one of the rivers. It is just a matter of locating it and jumping from the right place.
