Just to clarify given the other thread, you have to kill the crystal slimes BEFORE they transform

@AriesLullaby Try entering Crystallis from the right entrance and go back a section. That's where the random fights take place for m

You can also get 2 Azure (1 Slime, 1 Slimego) to appear in the museum by getting the code wrong. I haven't unlocked yet and wasn't sure if Slimego counts towards the total.

Could you farm some slime kills then reload a save and it still counts them?

Unfortunately, I don't know that, but it's definitely not necessary either.

There are more Azur Slimes within the Salt Mines, just encountered some in the 2nd section at the time of typing this.

Is there any equipment to increase enemy spawn rate?
This grind feels long ....

I've counted 20 slimes with no pop, can any one tell me if the blaze split into 2-3 if it counts as 2-3 or just 1 for the original that spawned? As that is the only thing I might of messed up counting.

I can confirm the non-split slimego enemy does count for the achievement.

I wish the encounter rate for white slimes was better. I'm starting to feel like I'll get the 500 parries before getting these last dozen slimes, and I've been farming over an hour.

@Kuniicha make sure the slimes (in my case it was the white ones) die by direct damage and not by poison inflicted during their turn. That doesn't count and I just made a solution hoping this helps others because I wasted a lot of time not knowing this.

So after the achievement didn't pop, a reinstall and some slime killing, it has me wondering: Is it possible the number of slimes needed ISN'T 20? Based on my counts, it seems (to me at least) that 25 might be the magic number, as I can confirm killing exactly that many Azures, and that's when it popped.

Just putting that out there for anyone also having trouble with this.

Usually I'll just laugh at comments like what user I Like Drinkin said but he was spot on. I had more than 20 of each slime killed but it didn't pop I was on 21 Azure and decided to jump back in a see. As soon as I killed my 4th Azure it popped.

Well I have even worse news on this one. There must be some other condition that you have to meet because I've killed at least 60 (white) to well over 100 (flame) and it still hasn't popped for me. None died from poison as the last hit but many had HP taken during battle. There's more to it than the number killed for sure. I have not killed the Time Empress yet and my suspicion is it will pop when I do.

Edit: I just popped the "Bullseye" ach for 500 perfect hits while working on the slimes.

I have been writing down my kills and I got the achievement exactly after my 20th white slime, still on the battle screen.

Have you already killed the Time Empress?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, I have killed much more than 20 slimes of each type, preventing them from doing the kamikaze, separating and transforming, currently I finished the game and the free dlc, try to reinstalled it and still dont pop

No items that I can think of. At least with the parry, I know what to expect. RNGeezus pities the fool...

Does anyone know for sure if Colisseum kills count towards this? That is a predictable spawn albeit still slow method if anyone wants to test that out.

In any case, if you're bad at keeping track or keep losing track like me, do extra on the Fire Slimes and White Slimes. Once you know you have 20 of each for sure, go to Rainbow Lake. The last slime I think I was needing was the Poison Slimes and on the way, saw quite a bit of Azure and Water Slimes... Popped when I finished killing the Poison Slime as anticipated.

After wasting hours on this due to a glitch and going well past 20 slimes each, I figured I'd make a short solution in case you're in the same boat I was.

Tips for white slimes (found in Crystallis):
  • These are an uncommon spawn. Expect to spend a while here.
  • You must kill them through regular attacking. Dying by poison during their turn, for example, doesn't count (not knowing this cost me a ton of wasted time). I'm assuming this counts for every slime but the others are so common and plentiful I didn't notice.
  • You must kill them in one turn, i.e. before they transform.
  • SAVE EVERY 5-10 WHITE SLIME KILLS! I encountered a glitch where, upon starting a battle, the screen just stood permantely white and I had to force quit the game. This was over an hour into the grind. Better safe than sorry.
Hopefully this helps as the other 4 slimes are relatively easy to farm and you can easily get them throughout the main game.

There is no tracker for this achievement, so try to keep track as you play. Once you hit the end portion of the game, work backwards through the list until you know for sure you've killed 20 of a certain type before moving on. The types of slimes, locations, and weakness are as follows:

  • Poison: St. Clarity Sewers, Rainbow Lake - weak to water
  • Water: St. Clarity Sewers, Rainbow Lake - weak to thunder
  • Azure: Rainbow Lake - weak to physical attacks
  • Fire: Ceniza Ruins, Cinder's Forge - weak to water
  • Crystal: Crystallis - no weaknesses
The Crystal slimes are tricky because they can transform into another type of slime, and you have to kill them before they do to get credit. If they transform, you'll instead get credit toward whatever type of slime they turn into.

There are five types of slimes in the game:
Watery, poisonous, azure, fiery and white.
Each one needs to be killed 20 times. There will be no problems with the first four, but white will have to be farmed, i.e. They live only in Crystallis, and are not found in every battle. Moreover, they must be killed before their turn comes , because... they immediately transform into slimes of a different color, and magic does not take them while they are white - you need to hit them with physical damage, for example, with the usual attacks of Kari Khudo, the main thing is to strengthen her melee combat to the maximum due to equipment.

I advise you to initially keep statistics of killed slimes. This will normally shorten the knockout time.

This trophy is stupid. The problem is that after killing 20 slugs of each type, the trophy may not drop. It is easy to treat - remove the game from the console, install it again and kill one slug of each type and the trophy is yours.

I advise you to farm crystal (white) slimes in Crystallis before the final boss, then go to Cinder’s Forge and there, riding the elevator from floor to floor, farm red ones, and finish off the remaining species in Rainbow Lake. Azur slimes live only there and poisonous ones are also found and aquatic.
There are no statistics in the game, so remember approximately how many you have already killed so as not to return to old locations.
