To answer a question I had about this achievement: in Cuccchi you only have to collect an eye (or piece of Cuccchi work) for it to count for the relevant achievements, including this one. You don't have to finish the level with it.
If you have a skull hit you and 'eat' an eye during a level, it means that the work isn't unlocked in the gallery, but it does count towards the 'find all works in a level' achievement and this 'collect all works of the game'. It also covers multiple run throughs of a level, so you don't need to worry about collecting everything in one play through of a level / the game.
As an example, I completed all levels but only had 3 out of 9 works collected for level 4 from my first play through. During a level replay I collected six eyes, but was hit three times by skulls, meaning I only had three eyes left. I then found another eye in a later maze that unlocked both the 'collect all works' for level 4 and also unlocked the 'collect all the works of the game' achievement as I'd previous collected the other eyes, plus the ones I'd collected in this run.
If I wanted to have it appear in the gallery I'd have to complete this level without getting hit.

Thank you for leaving this solution !!!! I've been trying to finish levels without getting hit by skulls, and getting frustrated.

Yes, I was as well for level 4 (or any level where both the skulls and eyes are wandering around a maze) - very hard to avoid running into at least one skull. Fortunately it doesn't matter for the achievements.
