How to unlock the I've Been Waiting for This achievement in Days Gone - Definitive Guide

Story related and can not be missed

You'll unlock this trophy after completing the 'For An Outlaw Biker' mission.

If you are playing on Survival Mode or Hard, then see Surviving is Living for information. If you are doing the normal play through first or on a easier difficulty then here's some information to help on the missions. Honestly though none are difficult, the only ones you may struggle with are towards the end and the hordes.

Fuel - Always refuel no matter how much you have left, you can't fast travel if you haven't got enough fuel so that will not be help. You can refuel for free at any gas station which is marked on the maps and at Deacon and boozers first camp. At other camps it will cost credit, which isn't an issue but if you come stuck then its a hard slug pushing the bike across the map. Other than that you can refuel using gas canisters found anywhere.

Ammo - You can find ammo tins in camps and buildings but its always handy unlocking the ammo pouch for the bike and refill it whenever you are at a camp. Running out of ammo can be a pain.

Loadout - Having the correct loadout is essential for the wide variety of missions, if you are facing a horde then use an LMG, Assault Rifle and stock up on all your traps/Molotovs. If you are going against an enemy camp then use silencers, the crossbow and stealth kills.

Bike - The bike controls aren't the best, one small crash can kill you and wreck your bike so be prepared and have plenty of scrap at the ready. Don't ride through water, because it damages the bike really quickly, depletes your fuel and if it's deep, you will lose the bike. It's costly for a camp to retrieve it. Get the bike upgrades as soon as you can, the best fuel tank and engine are game changers.

Fast Travel - This is your friend, saves the boredom of travelling up and down the regions.

Hordes - They actually come in different sizes and the larger ones can become very overwhelming. LMGs, focus and stamina pills, loads of traps and Molotovs. Grenades and pipe bombs are good too. These are best approached during the day as the horde will be 'sleeping' in which ever hole they call home. Be careful on approach because they hear you no matter how silent you are. Use traps, lay them out in a nice line. Throw an attractor into the middle of the Horde (use focus to see where they are) and then unleash a few Molotovs and bombs. Equip your LMG and mow them down whilst working your way back past your traps. They can catch up to you if you aren't sprinting so be aware of that when you are running around.
