How to unlock the Bookworm achievement in Dead Island 2 - Definitive Guide

In order to get this achievement, you just need to pick up 50 audio logs or notes laying around Hell-A. These will typically have a white glow above them, similar to the glow above common weapons. Hope this helps!

Edit: Thanks to GR34TD3STR0Y3R for clarifying, there are way more than 50 collectable journals in the game, so this will come naturally from playing the game and grabbing them as you find them.

Thanks for the guide. Sorry some sorry sour grape is downvoting everyone's solutions for this game. I have two guides with detailed tricks and got downvoted for no reason too.

Just to add to your solution, it seems there are FAR more than 50 journals in this game. I am only a few hours in and have 50% already. So this isn't something that you will need to go and collect every single one, thank Jebus.

Hi everyone.

If this achievement is lock try this method that’s worked for me

Download dead island 2 on an XBOX one launch the game and that will be unlock then you are in the main menu.

Don’t hesitate to tell me if I Made some grammar mistakes I try to improve my English skills

This one appears to have glitched at 98% for me as well. Started solo for half of the story and then played story coop for the rest. My coop partner got the achievement. This is the final one I need.

For anyone that still needs it? If you don’t mind starting over I found this tip on Reddit and it worked for me. “ delete all data on dead island then go offline start a brand new save(none of your save will be there it will be like u just bought the game again) then close app, go online and start the game and when it says choose cloud or Xbox storage on the main menu click storage and play through the game to get the achievement again.” Credit to xsxmmyy15

Hi everyone

I found an issue to unlock this achievement.

Download the game on your XBOX ONE and your achievement will be unlock then you are in the main menu of the game

You’ll find Journals scattered all over Dead Island 2’s LA, and they’re incredibly hard to miss, as they emit a sparkly white plume. Be sure to pick them up whenever you spot them, and you’ll easily accumulate 50 before the end of the story. Over 100 of the 234 Journals in the game are given automatically during the story, too, so don't be too concerned about collecting every single one.
