it's actually not super obvious. I was tossing dynamite all over the place with nothing happening. it needs to be placed specifically on the wall in a certain spot that will let you know when you are close.

I managed to finish the entire game and this somehow didn´t unlock. Unlocked when I did the first mission again. This game sucks.
