How to unlock the Dan says hi achievement in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! - Definitive Guide

To get the good ending (which gives you this Achievement), you must find all of the special scenes for each character without progressing to Act 2. Each character has three special scenes: 2 for writing them 2 poems (one for each poem), and a weekend event.

You will have to make a save before the first poem writing minigame (or the second minigame, if you wrote your first poem for Sayori; she won't give a special scene after night 3), write two poems for one of the characters, get a weekend event, and then load the save. This will take at least three runs.

Yuri's and Natsuki's weekend events are found by assisting them with festival preparations. Sayori's is found by telling her you love her.

As soon as you get to Monday, load your old save.

Once you have found all 9 special scenes (3 for each character), proceed with the game normally, and you will get this Achievement after the credits.

@KludgyCartoon. Sorry for the confusion. It's a bit weird. Sayori runs away on Friday (day 4), so you can't get a special scene with her on Friday, but you can get special scenes with Yuri and Natsuki on Friday.

In theory, you can shave a day off of each run by writing a poem for Sayori on the first night, and getting her scene on Wednesday (day 2). THEN you save. Then you get her second scene on Thursday (day 3), reset to your day 2 save, and get all of the scenes for Yuri and Natsuki by replaying Thursday and Friday instead of replaying all three days.

But in answer to your question, yes, you will end up writing two poems for Sayori. You will write two poems for each of the three characters, in addition to finding each of their unique weekend scenes.

If you played through it normally and corrupted the game by completing it, how do you start the game over fresh? I didn't realize there was a cutoff point & load manipulation for achievements. (thank you for the help indiscriminator**)

@CoryG900. You need to go to the virtual machine/fake desktop. You can get there by either selecting "Exit DDLC" in-game, or reloading the game from your xbox dashboard.

Go to "Files," and right away you will see something called "reset.sh". After you've completed your first playthrough, you can use "reset.sh" at any time to reset DDLC.

As a side note it will only reset DDLC. It will not reset any of the pictures or songs you've collected, so it won't mess up the Breakthrough Achievement (even though it's bugged right now anyway).

Also an important thing is, you probably need to listen to monika until she tells you how you can delete her.
I deleted her instantly and that caused the monika image to be blackwhite and the achievement not to pop

I've followed the guide on my second playthrough and didn't get the achievement. I had all 9 images before moving to Act 2 and continued all the way to the credits and Monika's final letter. Where/When is supposed to unlock?
Edit: I figured it out. I had unlocked all 3 scenes from Yuri on my 1st playthrough whilst I got the other 6 on my 2nd one. All 9 have to be seen in the same run

You will get this by doing the good ending of the game.

No spoilers- you will want to view every characters cinematic cutscene before the end of the first act. Lean your poems towards the first character you want to get, then reload a save from when you make the first poem and choose another character. repeat with Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki. make sure not to go too far into the first act.
