The easiest level in my opinion to get this level 4B, although it is possible to just get this naturally in other levels, also becomes easier the more you've upgraded your ship.
In level 4B, if you take the alternate boss route the boss (as shown in the video below) it is relatively easy. It only shoots asteroids at you and they are pretty easy to dodge especially if you stay at the far left of the screen.
Shooting the asteroids builds up your combo and providing you don't get hit you will easily get a 100x combo.
This level also is easy to get an S Rank on for this achievement if you're struggling with it:
Also as a bonus, if you drag out out the boss fight as I show in the video by hanging around underneath and not shooting the boss too much (this is why I end up accidentally getting hit just to show the tactic as I wouldn't normally do this when trying to beat the level), in my opinion this is the best way to grind credits if you would like to upgrade your ship more.
It is also easily got in the Boost Rush Mode Levels if you are able pass to them, I have also wrote guides for these.

You need to have an active 100x multiplier to get this trophy. Your best bet is to use a level that includes a lot of breakable asteroids and even better if it's a boss fight. One of the 5 final mini-bosses is Skuld (Boss E). This fight is a really good opportunity to get this. The boss is encased in a rock that you need to break to defeat him. During the fight, there are asteroids flying all about. If you focus on breaking the asteroids before going for the boss, you can easily grow your multiplier up to 100+. Just be careful of the blue-ish asteroids as you can't break these with your regular bullets and if you get hit by one, it'll break your multiplier. As soon as you reach 100x, the trophy will unlock.
If you don't want to wait until an end level to get this, you can also try it on the boss fights at the end of 2B and 4B (take the upper pathway of 4B).
