I strongly recommend anyone trying to get this achievement to use the ArtilleryCalculator app. I’m not even kidding in my first attempt using artillery with the app I got 55 kills and the app makes it super simple and quick to dial in your range before the enemy relocates and you miss or hit a friendly.

If you leave the server, your progress could be reset back to 0% (regardless of what your tracker says) and you'll have to start again - This has to be done in one session on the same server (not in one match)
Progress counts for both gunner and loader

To make your pain easier, use Hell Let Loose Calculator .
For example, I installed HLL Artillery Calculator on my phone with Google Play and in three relaxing evenings I scored 100 kills with it.
If you get into a match where the strengths of both sides of the teams are approximately the same and they spend a long time fighting off/defending one point, then things will be faster. In one such match with trench warfare, I was lucky to get ~30 artillery kills.

It is quite possible to score 100 artillery kills in 1 match if you understand the mechanics of shooting and know where to shoot. Before the enemy captures the farthest point, we fire at the nearest paths and roads, focusing on the map. And when the capture of a point begins, and there are no allies on it, we begin to shoot at the point, slightly changing the direction in order to hit a larger area. With a successful hit when capturing a point, you can capture 10 enemies in 1 shot. To make aiming convenient, mark the firing point on the map with a cross, then aim at it, and begin shooting non-stop, slightly changing the trajectory.
My friend and I scored 77 kills on 1 map. We could have done more, but out of anger the enemies began to come behind our team and team kill us)))
