How to unlock the Tank Ace achievement in Hell Let Loose - Definitive Guide
Kills in a tank count for everyone in the vehicle. This can be easily obtained by taking a tank to enemy HQs in warfare matches, driving back and fourth between them, and destroying the vehicles while they are unoccupied. Preferably try to do it in a match with as few people in it as possible. I got about 25 vehicle kills per match.

Ok I figured out the tank issue.
Now I just need to figure out how to get on warfare....

From what I know it's just luck. You will see whenever a match loads, under the name of the map what mode you're in. There is offensive and warfare.

First off, I need to preface this as saying this is how I got it.
Second, as I tell all the players I'm with that are having issues with the game tracking achievement: Playing on PC through game pass will allow the achievements to track from the progress already gained on Xbox, i.e. If the cheevo tracker shows you have progressed 42% out of 100%, you will start at 42% and work up from there.
First Solution:
1. When you search for a game, (again, I am doing this on PC) look for the new skirmish (preferable) or warfare maps with only one player.
2. Join game as Commander. Using the Commander powers, drop jeeps, and trucks are a single HQ. (You can only drop one at a time and must move the vehicle out of the spawn site if focusing only on a single HQ)
3. Switch sides. Some servers are 15min-30min cool down on switching, some are as much as you want.
4. Use the Commander powers to "Bomb Run" the light vehicles. and "Precision Strike" for Armor. (Precision must be spot on and rarely kills two armored vehicles side by side.)
5. Repeat Step 2 only on the opposite side. Using the Commander powers, drop jeeps, and trucks are a single HQ. (You can only drop one at a time and must move the vehicle out of the spawn site if focusing only on a single HQ)
6. Switch sides again. Some servers are 15min-30min cool down on switching, some are as much as you want.
7. Use the Commander powers to "Bomb Run" the light vehicles. and "Precision Strike" for Armor. (Precision must be spot on and rarely kills two armored vehicles side by side.)
Note: This will also allow you to get Jeep Kills, and Half track re-spawns.
2nd Note: They do not need to be a manned vehicle.
Final Note: This is all on my personal experience. Please let others know how you fared and if this helped.
Second Solution:
1. When you search for a game, (again, I am doing this on PC) look any map that you can play either Armor, Anti-Tank(AT), or Engineer (with satchels.) Many of these spots are taken so either start your own or wait.
2. AT can be equipped with either the Rocket Launcher, Satchels and AT mines, or the ability to build an AT Gun.
3. Engineers had AT mines or Satchels
4. Armor units are a team effort for best effect. It didn't matter that I wasn't the gunner. The kills we got, registered to me as well.
5. Using these classes, destroy trucks, jeeps, half-tracks, and armored units till it pops.
Note: AT with the rocket launcher only has two (2) rockets without reload. Hit Trucks on the engine block. (most times you will kill it wherever you hit it, but I have also had issues not destroying it.) Hit Jeeps and half-tracks anywhere. Armor must always be taken from the back. If you have help or resupply options, HIT THE TRACKS to paralyze the tank for your team. (Heavy tanks have never fallen to me with only two rockets.)
2nd Note: Satchels are amazingly effective against everything but can be removed by enemy engineers. They also have several different times that it can be set for. (Teammates suck. They may listen to you and get away, while others will ignore you. Fair warning, you will get Team Kills using this method. Maybe not every time, but certainly often.)
3nd Note: AT Mines have to be place on the ground and rolled over. I have had no luck with mines but you may be lucky. It will usually take more than one mine and there is a blast radius.
Final Note: This is all on my personal experience. Please let others know how you fared and if this helped. If you have no idea how to play Armor, use the basic training tool and learn. Some people will help teach you but most wont.

Short Guide: Play tanks. If you have a 2 other friends to play with, play with them and remember to communicate! Play it safe and always keep an eye out for other tanks. Also, destroying enemy transport and supply trucks count as vehicles. Additionally, playing AT is helpful for achieving this faster.

Although the trophy is called Tank Destroyer, any vehicle counts.
Tank and reconnaissance vehicles can be destroyed:
on a tank (tank crew), on a reconnaissance vehicle (tank crew), with a bazooka (anti-tank infantryman) and an anti-tank mine (engineer).
The truck and those vehicles that transport people also count towards this trophy and are destroyed by the above methods.
You can also destroy equipment with artillery.

If the trophy drags on, you can go to the enemy’s respawn, where equipment will appear from time to time. In an hour you can shoot 8-12 units, if you're lucky. I recommend doing it with a partner.

If you often play as an infantryman with a rocket launcher, you can get a trophy without any boost (up to 10-20 vehicles can be destroyed in the evening).
To destroy a truck you need 1 shot into the radiator, to destroy light vehicles (reconnaissance vehicles) also 1 shot, to destroy a light and medium tank you need 2 accurate shots from behind, do not waste charges on a heavy tank (only if it is already heavily damaged). Do not shoot at tanks from the sides or front, because... the projectile does not penetrate armor.
At the very beginning of the match, players usually travel by truck to the point of contact; you can destroy 1-2 trucks at the very beginning. Trucks are usually abandoned before reaching the point of contact with the enemy, so try to go around the points to the side to find abandoned trucks. You can also drive along the edge of the map to the enemy spawn. If the battles take place in the center of the map, then opponents very rarely appear on the respawn. If you have a friend who can place a crate of rocket ammo, this will give another +2 shots.
