This is one of the very first story missions. After you meet a few townsfolk you will be given an axe as well as a donation box to put in front of one of the two abandoned homes. Once you choose a home, you place the donation box at the door and will be asked to collect some wooden logs with your newly given axe. Once you collect the logs and add them to the box in front of your home you will have the achievement as well as a new house to live in.
