How to unlock the Mayor Status achievement in Hokko Life - Definitive Guide

Just to mention that if you've earned your achievements on 2 different saves, you'll have to meet the requierements again in order to unlock this final achievement.
For example:
I earned 18 achievements on a first save, then I started a new game (due to a blocking bug in the first one).
On my second save, I earned the remaining 12 achievements, but 'Mayor status' didn't unlock. On this second, I had to meet the requierements of some achievements already earned my 1st save to unlock 'Mayor status'. It concerns achievements that are not earned through natural progression, such as 'Couch Surfer' (Sleep in someone elses bed), 'Planet Saver' (Plant 50 trees)...
For me, it finally unlock after I created a item with pieces from 10 different packs ('Resourceful')

A similar thing happened to me except I had done all the criteria on one save. I found that I had unlocked the 16 unique vegetable achievement but in the Mayor Merits tab it only showed as having 15 out of 16 vegetables when I was wondering why the Mayor Status hadn't unlocked. I attribute this to dashboarding before the actual game saves this progress when I was doing the vegetable one. As soon as I got the last vegetable again the Mayor Status popped. So to get this to unlock double check the Mayor merits tab to see if anything trackable is missing, and after doing an achievement make sure to get a save in the game

Can confirm it all needs to be done on one save. For whatever reason the game gypped me out of the "Travel Enthusiast" achievement on my main save and having unlocked 30 of 31 between two saves, I am left with sadness to know I won't care about doing another 4 tournaments, and a billion other things for the completion.
