Tookes' special ability does 2 things
1. Heal teammates in close range
2. Highlights enemies nearby including players
Tooke also has a perk in the 1st perk spot, Deep Rooted, which expands the highlight range of his ability.
It is possible to do this before gaining the perk by kiting a bunch of guards and using his ability.
If you still haven't gotten the achievement before unlocking Deep Rooted perk then it will definitely help once you purchase it for 500 coins.
