How to unlock the Rollin' Round the City achievement in Knockout City - Definitive Guide
For those still trying to get this achievement, since Patch 4.0, you are able to do this in training mode.
Simply start training 5 and go through the tubes in ball form and it shouldn’t take you less than an hour from scratch.
My achievement popped this way, so I’m sure it works.
Also early next year they have confirmed that they will fix the progression system and the achievement tracker, for those who like to wish to know where they are at.

UGWRayne here is the Community manager answering on Reddit and confirming that it works :https://www.reddit.com/r/KnockoutCity/comments/r9kal7/commen...
I send my KO ID to the community manager on Reddit and he checked my stats and told me I was at exactly 79/100 Km so I went through the tubes in training 5 and it popped after 20 minutes. I'm sure if you ask him nicely he will send you your stats as well, or you can just wait for the next update, when they will fix the stats.
Quick tip: I'm not sure if it matters, but I usually stopped rolling for a few seconds after going through a tube so the tracker can correctly track them.

Do you have a source on the achievement tracker?

The absolute fastest way to do this is to just ride the tubes in Back Alley Brawl map. You should be able to get 2km-3km per match, in about 8 minutes. It is recommend you grind this out every time you get this map.
Otherwise, this distance does include ultimate throws, and character throws which are the second fastest way, although you may need teammate cooperation for those.
Lastly, you can just roll around the maps for a while, but this method will take about 25+ hours and hurt any randoms you're playing with more than other methods.
Keep your eyes peeled for special game modes like Ball-Up Brawl that encourage ballform play to more easily gain credit through normal play.

There's a mode right now called Ball-Up Brawl where it's just player balls so if you don't have a buddy with communication to help out you can just ball up and have randoms throw you.

Just roll in between combat and roll off spawns until you get a ball. That’s what I did. Only downside is getting yourself to stop rolling around after unlocking the achievement. Muscle memory is a pain.

I just unlocked this achievement, but it can be quite frustrating without the ability to track. If you are solely wanting to focus on this achievement I have a few suggestions. I also want to preface that it took me from rank 92 to 98, without XP boosts (my decision to get a better idea on progression), and I rarely rolled prior to rank 92 because I just don’t use that mechanic in general.
I tracked it via my Xbox playtime and it took me roughly 7.5hrs of just pure rolling. The last thing I encourage is to ruin the game for others or to make the matches less enjoyable so here’s my method of working on this achievement without obstructing the gameplay:
Currently there is a playlist called KO CHAOS which is essentially a free-for-all. I did all my rolling in this playlist because it didn’t affect random teammates’ games nor affect the gameplay for others in general. I made sure there was always 3 active players in the match before rolling around the entire map for the rest of the game. If someone leaves or there’s only 2 players, I just played the match as normal.
If you do have a crew or friends that can team up with you and are okay with dealing with a 2v3, Team KO is your 2nd best option. Once again, it won’t affect the gameplay and you have the chance to roll around the entire time, even on small or open maps like Rooftop Rumble or Concussion Yard.
Other than that, take advantage of bigger maps like Knockout Roundabout, Galaxy Burger, and Back Alley Brawl because they give you the opportunity to rotate through the entire map consecutively while avoiding other players/risk of getting KO’d or even picked up. These maps are designed to be cyclical in shape and travel.
The rest really boils down to rolling through the entire map as many times as you can. My guess is if an average game is 3min long, it’ll take about 125-150 games before it unlocks. (Hope I mathed that right lol). It’s boring, it’s long, but if you are persistent and want to get it out of the way like me - that is a pretty decent tactic. GLHF!

For those wanting an easier way to grind particularly today they are having a "Brawl Crawl" event today where they're only doing one specific map for the entire day. Todays Back Yard Brawl with the tubes so much easier to get this one if you grind it today.
