Each region has creatures with different requirements. The easiest are The Meadows and Pine Heights, as that's where you will most likely set up your camp.

You can either feed the 3 creatures directly, or straight at their nest. You can only feed each creatures once per day. There are several nests in each region, so there is more than 3 per region.

It's safe to note that in The Meadows, they eat Basoc Fodder, and in Pine Heights, they eat Nice Fodder. You will need to construct the Fodder Oven to craft the Fodder, and an Oil Press for the Oils.

Basic Fodder - 1 Plant Oil, 1 Plant Fibre
Nice Fodder - 1 Polyberry Oil, 1 Plant Fibre
Sweet Fodder - 1 Caroot Oil, 1 Polyberry Seed
Sour Fodder - 1 Rabbage Oil, 1 Polyberry Seed
Salty Fodder - 1 Chromaize Oil, 1 Caroot Seed
Fancy Fodder - 1 Zappertwig Oil, 1 Rabbage Seed

Animals are located all around the map. In the starting area called The Meadows you can find these red parrot type birds called Swiftplumes, Croblings by the water that look like hermit crabs and rats called Ratscallions. All of these three animals are fed with Basic Fodder.

To create Basic Fodder you need to craft a Fodder Oven.

First enter the build mode and under Constructs - Crafting, build a Workshop Shed, using 24 pieces of wood. The shed is required to place the fodder oven inside. Now in the same build menu as the shed you can find the Fodder Oven. You will ned 20 pieces of stone, 6 wood and 2 Plant Oils to build. You can create Plant Oil with the Oil Presser, it is in the same build menu as the over and shed. This requires 16 pieces of stone and 12 pieces of wood.

Once the Fodder Oven is built you can create Basic Fodder with 1 Plant Oil and 1 Plant Fiber. It should create it straight away and if yopu are stood by you should automatically pick it up. Now with the Basic Fodder in your inventory just find any of the animals around and press on them. Once you have feed 50 animals the achievement should pop straight away. Tracking progress was working fine for me as well.

Please note that this doesn't seem to share in coop like the weeds or slime does.
