This achievement is for planting 200 Sprouts. Sprouts are the seeds of the trees that are around the map. I genuinely thought we'd be actually farming sprouts, thought and hoped because sprouts are amazing and I know you all agree!

Anyway you can get sprouts from cutting down trees, purchasing them from the merchant and trading with Ulf. Once you have sprouts in your inventory, switch to your Sprout Cannon. You may have to switch to the sprouts by cycling through your seed by pressing , aim at the ground and plant the seed! My achievement tracking was working fine when planting spouts.

I sold everything I could to the merchant and purchased every sprout they had including the red and blue ones. I then just ran around planting all of them to speed run it. I also quit to not save the day.

DARK2K10 also suggested: you can plant a sprout and then immediately dig it back up to keep the sprout and replant it.

This achievement isn't shared in Co-op. It's individual planting for each player.
