How to unlock the Third King Dethroned achievement in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name PS4 & PS5 - Definitive Guide
Oh boy, this one is a pain in the behind. You're fighting the Third King as well as the previous two kings and seventeen other goons. All of them have insane HP. All enemies will also periodically heal a good amount. And on top of all that, you have a timer counting down during the whole fight. Time will be the biggest impediment here and the entire battle boils down to a matter of DPS.
Note: Below is the strategy I used and the prep required for it. After that, I list several other methods that other players have gotten to work. If you discover a particular technique that works well for you but is not listed here, please comment so below.
First, some prep:
You'll need to get the Dragon God Amulet (buy from Akame's shop for 60,000 points after upgrading the store four times). Then equip that and the best gear you can otherwise buy or find. The Great Gold Undies are fantastic for this. Damage per second is also key here so I completely maxed out my attack stat, including all ten levels of the Boost Attack Kiwami.
You will also need to get a team of ten followers, preferably gold rank, maxed out at level 20. It's crucial that you have NO HEALERS in your party. Otherwise the method below won't work. Keep that in mind before spending the several hours you need to max out your posse's levels.
Now the strategy for beating the Third King:
To pull this off, we're going to use the Essence of Dragon God heat action. When using the Yakuza style, if you enter extreme heat and have low health (the health bar will be flashing) you can pull off an attack on any enemy using that cuts through their defenses and can one-hit most of the weaker troops.
To keep your heat refilling, equip the Dragon God Amulet. This will refill your heat gauge so long as your health is low.
Now to get your health low, start another Coliseum match, preferably platinum, and let yourself get hit until your health is low. Pause and quit out of the match. You'll still be at low health. Smoke cigarettes (never thought I'd ever tell that to someone) to max out your heat. Save, and then start the fight with the Third King.
Once in the fight you need to run around trying to pick off the weaker enemies using the Essence of Dragon God. Try to avoid too many cluttered enemies since your health is low and you can't heal. Also try to avoid the kings until they are the last enemies remaining. When you deplete your heat, run away until you get another heat bar or two filled. Then repeat.
When you're finally down to just the kings, your teammates should cluster around them and whittle away at their health. Attack the kings if you see an opening, but don't let yourself get killed in the process.

Alternative strategy 1:
If you have a hard time pulling off the above, others have suggested staying in agent style, popping extreme heat, and then spamming the Hornet drones. In extreme heat, the hornets do far more damage and can clear out some of the lesser goons allowing you to focus on the kings earlier.
Alternative strategy 2:
Another strategy is to play as Majima and spam his spin-attack using . His knife cuts through enemy blocks and induces bleeding. Others have recommended this method, however I personally could not get this to work.
Alternative strategy 3:
xDisturbedx666 points out that there is another strategy for this that includes packing your team with as many machinegun-wielding fighters as you can. These fighters will then spray away at the enemy, giving them no time to focus on you. The only downside is if you already have a fully-trained team, you will have to raise another set of allies up to level 20.

Good luck. This was by far the hardest battle in the game for me.

Even with the above help, it still took me three tries to pull it off. The hardest part is not getting tagged by Daft Punk's laser face.

I was considering using the Chicken Man strategy, but decided to try my luck using Kiryu. Got it first try, normal difficulty, 50 seconds to spare, didn't lose a single fighter. For anyone interested, my setup was:
Completely maxed Kiryu, equipped with Dragon God Amulet, Great Fortune Gold Undies, Indra's Amulet, Dragon's Binding.
Team: (all max level, max bond)
Chicken Man
Fumiya Sugiura
Yasuo Sodachi
Sheep Man
Keita Kuroyanagi
Nightmare
Mr. Masochist
Munan Akamatsu
Gary Buster Holmes
Masaharu Kaito
My strategy was this. I abused the Agent Style Heat Action: Daidoji Martial Mastery to hit 3 enemies at at time, and did so until I ran out of heat (which left about 10-11 enemies still fighting). After that, I went Yakuza style and did mostly charged attacks. Samejima was a particular nuisance, in that he seemed to have massive defense. I would use the Coliseum Heat whenever it was available, and it thinned the herd quite well. Ultimately, it was my clanmates that ended up finishing the Kings (I never even looked at Justice).
YMMV, of course, but I hope this helps.

I don't want to sound disrespectful, but I didn't have much trouble with this fight playing on Normal. Use Yakuza(red) style, Hold X to charge your basic punches and IGNORE the Kings until the end. The only reason I failed once was I ran out of time. I focused on the Third King the first go and my crew, somehow, wasn't able to take out the henchmen, so on my second run I focused on the henchmen and we finished the fight with over a minute left. Not sure what the heck Sheep Man was up to though. In both fights, he died INSTANTLY but my other 9 fighters made it to the end.
I will note that I have my Attack leveled up entirely, including the 10 3,000,000 yen boosts, and all party members were Lv 20/3. Since I got the game 'free' in Game Pass, I spent the $8 on the DLC pack of fighters.
Equipment:
Dragon's Binding
Dragon God Amulet
Blesswood Armor Replica
Eye of the Dragon
Party:
Masaharu Kaito
Sheep Man
Keita Kuroyanagi
Goro Majima(DLC)
Daigo Dojima(DLC)
Taiga Saejima(DLC)
Chicken Man
Fumiya Sugiura
Mr. Masochist
Toru Higashi
I didn't even do any of the prep work the solution mentions. Again, not trying to condescend, but I did want to temper some of the fear you might be instilling, haha
Maybe I just got lucky but I didn't find this as difficult as the solution and comments make it.

This one is by far the most annoying of the 4 as he'll heal the units more than you can damage them in the time limit.
Video below is the guide I used for this fight to show it in action and what to bring:
For me I had maxed out all of Joryu's abilities, but ones I definately recommend getting are Heat Action: Essence of the Dragon God and maxed out equippable gear.
Gear Recommendations:
Great Fortune Gold Undies - ¥50,000,000 (Castle Boutique VIP room or Love Magic - Yokohama)
Great Fortune Silver Undies - ¥200,000 (Castle Boutique VIP room or Love Magic - Yokohama)
Chainmail - ¥8,922,000 (Castle Boutique VIP room)
Dragon God Amulet - 60,000 Akame points (Akame Shop lvl. 4)
Joryu Clan
Make sure everyone is capped at combat lvl 20 & bond lvl 3 and while it sounds risky don't bring any clan members that can heal as this can heal Joryu as well and take you out of the low health state needed for Essence of Dragon God
My Clan
It might take a through runs to get a decent run down, RNG for aggro and getting hit etc.
You will need to start and maintain the fight in the low health state for the Essence of Dragon God to proc. I also used the smoking point in the reception to cap out my heat gauge so I could start the fight with a few easy knockouts.
(Make a save once all your prep is done next to Brody so you can just retry without much hassle)

Four Kings combatant number three is JUSTICE1975, who introduces himself by dropping from the ceiling after the Samejima fight. To avoid a “unilateral slaughter”, as he puts it, you’ll need to prepare your best possible team, as this fight is utterly ludicrous. Not only will you have JUSTICE to contend with, firing off his powerful laser beam and such, but Dan Brody and Samejima will also be sticking their nose in, alongside a massive gang of thugs. Then, on top of all that, you have a time limit to worry about, and JUSTICE’s ‘Hellish Heal’ ability, which replenishes a massive chunk of the remaining enemies’ health.
The trick here is to take down as many of the weedier thugs as quickly as you can, then turn your focus to the stronger foes. This is easier said than done, of course, so it’s worth spending time ensuring your chosen team is tip-top. If you can have ten allies with high health all at the max level of 20, with bonds at Lv. 3, even better - head to the casino for a referral to recruit some of the more powerful and useful fighters for your team.
