How to unlock the Hunt's End achievement in Lords of the Fallen - Definitive Guide

**Missable**

This guy has been following you around for too long. You probably died to this boss in the game's tutorial. You were kind of meant to, really, though it is possibly to defeat him at that early stage. You can actually unlock this trophy at three different points: Defiled Sepulcher, right at the beginning of the game, Fitzroy’s Gorge, and Fief of the Chill Curse. If you die in any of those, then the Lightreaper won’t return there. Though one way around this is to back your save up on the cloud before the fight, allowing yourself a way to retry it.

The fight itself is fairly tough. You first need to lock and start sprinting as he flies around in the sky and swoops down. The dodge is your friend here – and in most of the fight, really. When he dismounts his pet dragon, he lunges at you very wildly with his swords. (Feel no shame for summoning an ally for this fight, as much for distraction as anything else.) He will back away from you and fire projectile waves your way, which can be dodged through, opening a window for you to get some hits in.

The Lightreaper will also get back onto his dragon after a time and rain fire down on you – that old routine – but again, lock and sprint away from the flames. His swooping dragon attack is also fairly heavily telegraphed and easily avoided. Just dodge at the last moment as he lunges. In the later stage of the fight, he will charge up his swords with red energy, and also leave glowing energy puddles on the floor. His jumping attack here is great, because after you dodge it, you then have a big window to get your hits in. Once you have defeated him, this trophy will unlock – but he will also explode on death, so make sure to dodge that.
