How to unlock the Rune Master achievement in Lords of the Fallen - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to give all 3 tablets to Gerlinde or Sparky AND upgrade a weapon/shield to +10. Each tablet given allows you to socket another rune. Locations are as follows. Note you cannot give them out of order.
1. Cracked Rune Tablet
- Fitzroy's Gorge: Once you enter the caves you need to go progress untill you cross a bidge in Umbral. From there on your right is a ladder/drop. This is where you can find Drustan. Drop down a few platforms below, and at the end of the path and past the Umbral Flowerbed, below the ladder is a Cracked Rune Tablet.
- Alternatively starting from the Shrine of Adyr/Vestige of Betrayed Eliard: Go outside down the slope and backtrack to the caves. Climb up the ladders untill you get to the top then look to the left. You'll see a path/ladder. Go down and at the end is the Tablet.
2. Chipped Rune Tablet
- Upper Calrath: From the Vestige of Doln, progress till the point you have to fight a Ruiner on a ramp (past the large tree with a Infernal Enchantress). After that drop down into a burned building and enter the door to progress. You'll see a enemy infront of a fireplace and a stigma about giving a toast. The Chipped Rune Tablet is in the fireplace.
3. Rune Tablet
- Tower of Penance: If you have not opened the door into the tower coming from the bridge you'll need to go up the elevator and head down the tower till the metal grating platform. The chest with the tablet is in the outer ring on this floor against a wall.
- If the door is already open then you can just run across the bridge and enter the tower, turn left and follow the outer ring to a chest.
As for who you should give the tablet to it does not matter for this acheivement. That depends on what ending you are doing.

To unlock this achievement, you need to get the other two Rune Tablets. The first one, the Cracked Rune Tablet, you will have found as part of unlocking Rune Novice (5G), and now you need the other two. The first, the Chipped Rune Tablet, is in Upper Calrath, lurking in a fireplace. The other Rune tablet is on the lowest floor of the Tower of Penance. Once you have found them both, bring them to the blacksmith, Gerlinde, and she will be able to unlock the three Rune slots you need. Now you just need to socket three Runes into place, and this achievement will unlock.
