How to unlock the Unbroken to the End achievement in Lords of the Fallen - Definitive Guide

Story-related, cannot miss.

The first half of this fight has you up against Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight, which looks very much like someone from Elden Ring. This phase isn't too tough, in similar fashion to Pieta, there are som very parryable sword swipes, and the arena features a number of pillars that you can hide behind – which Dervla will smash through. Dodge into her swipes to get up close, get a couple of swipes in, then get out.

The second phase of the fight is against The Unbroken Promise. The best tactic for this phase of the fight is keep your distance and dodge through the projectiles. Eventually, your foe will leap toward you and crash down to the floor. Dodge into this attack and get hacking away as she recovers. Her basic energy swipes are also easily dodged. You should whittle her down before too long, and this trophy will unlock.

This boss is ONLY required for the umbral ending. Otherwise this boss and entire area is optional.

Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight/Unbroken Promise can be found in Revelation Depths. There is two stages to this boss fight, hence the 2 bosses.

Firstly, to get to this boss, defeat Skinstealer in the Cistern (close to Vestige of Catrin) and instead of taking the elevator up to Upper Calrath, follow the stairs back down all the way and just follow the path all the way down. After a little while you will enter Revelation Depths and still have a little while to go. Just follow the main path for a long while and eventually you'll come to the very bottom of the chasm and find the Vestige of Lost Berescu which is right before the boss arena.

I'd recommend just entering the arena and dying immediately so you dont have to play without summons. Go in and die, respawn and this time you'll have npcs available to summon. I strongly recommend Pieta. These 2 bosses do Wither damage. Pieta is a godsend in this fight. She does Holy damage, can heal herself and your character, and can take hits for you over and over.

Summon Pieta, let the boss lock on to her and start attacking her. My main strat was to get behind her while she is busy with Pieta and attack continuously, watching out for attacks of course. She will sometimes lock on to you again but in this case it is super easy to dodge her attacks (you just wanna dodge around her in a circle the whole time when she attacks you). You should also be careful as she does have a long sword and a few attacks that can hit you even when you aren't right in front of her. Make sure to stay relatively near to Pieta though, as she will occasionally do an AOE heal which can restore you back to full health (not sure exactly how much it heals, but its for sure a lot). One thing to look out for: when Dervla starts running towards the middle, her friend or whatever will start healing her. You will start seeing her health being healed and it will be white. Im not sure how exactly this is intended to be dealt with but what I did was quickly pull out any ranged weapon and shoot her as she is getting healed. This will deny the healed health she is receiving. Keep doing this until the heal attack is over then rinse and repeat strat from before. There is a glitch during her heal which makes it to where you cannot get your camera low enough to shoot Dervla. Just lock on over and over and move your camera up and down until it works.

Pieta is a godsend going into second stage with you. The second phase is the most annoying. Now you're fighting the Unbroken Promise. Unbroken Promise can summon Wither Nails for AOE attacks, do wither attacks with sword like in first stage, can jump and these nails can also lunge at you. Other than that, not too many special attacks.

Like I mentioned, one attack to look out for is the nail attack. I believe at the 75 percent health threshold she will summon a pair of nails and this adds two annoying attacks to be careful of. One is the AOE spinning nails. The nails will start spinning in a small circle and get bigger. You can either stay inside the circle or run far away. The spinning nails with eventually subside. One other major attack is the nails will go up a couple feet into the sky and lunge towards you (I believe a total of three times?). The first lunge is a little hard to counter because it happens so fast. Just try your best to dodge and the other two you can outrun.

Same tactic as we had with Dervla. When he attacks, dodge around him in a circle, get a couple hits off, repeat.

Will take some time and practice to learn the attacks, but after a while you'll get it. Play patient and dont get too greedy with attacks.
