How to unlock the Exterminator achievement in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Definitive Guide

As you encounter Venom in the main story, you will find that a number of Symbiote Nests will pop up across the map. These are similar to the Hunter Bases, only you have to plant a sonic bomb on a nest node and wait for a countdown timer. There are usually one or two nests per borough. Clear them all out, and you will unlock this trophy.

It's much easier to go through the nests after getting the Anti-Venom suit (obtained according to the story), since it has abilities that almost one-shot the symbiotes.

If you are having trouble with the two nests (especially in the tunnel), there is a bug in the game as of late December 2023: If you change your suit to the symbiote suit during the battle, the level will automatically end.
