How to unlock the Funky Wireless Protocols achievement in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Definitive Guide

There are 42 hidden mini spider-bots throughout the city They'll be easy to spot with a pearlescent/pink effect radiates for its location, then simply pick them up with cn_T

Some of the will be locked behind story progression even though it says there should be one available in that district, so don't fret. Just keep an eye on the effect and your minimap for a small pink spider symbol.

i used this guide to find all 42 AND the final location your need to trigger a special cutscene to obtain the trophy once you grab them all.

Just a side note. If you purchase the “All seeing” traversal skill, you can see the spider bots on your MINI MAP.

I capitalized mini map because they don’t show up on the pause menu map.

Across the map, there are a number of Spider-Bots, all of them with distinct themes and colour schemes. (There is even a little J. Jonah Jameson Spider-Bot!) They don't show up on the map, so you have to find them while you're out exploring. You will see, however, that they do appear on your mini-map, in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Here is the icon for the Spider-Bots on your mini-map:

Once you have picked up one of these icons, all you need to do is follow it until you see the telltale shimmer effect. These purply shimmers give away the location of each Spider-Bot as you get in their vicinity.

The shimmer looks like this:

You can also press the tp.png and, on the map screen, hover over each borough to see how many Spider-Bots remain in that area. There are 42 in total, and you will need to get them all to unlock this trophy.

There is a bug, after collecting all the spiders, the marker on the map does not appear to complete the task. Go to the place where the marker should be (see the guide for the location) the mission will continue.

The suit upgrade that shows boxes and spiderbots on the minimap is called "Omnivision" and is located in the "Movement" tab.

If after selecting a task through the application, the icon on the map still does not appear, then you need to save, exit to the main menu of the game, click "continue" and the quest will start working as soon as the game loads.

If you open the spider app, this task will be displayed there, just click on perform, and it will be displayed (where to fly)

The suit upgrades have an upgrade that shows spiderbots on the minimap. This makes finding them quite easy.

Spider marks on the map are not saved, even if you have found them once. Keep an eye on the minimap.
