Mass Effect Legendary Edition

This is Samara's loyalty mission in Mass Effect 2, and unlike most other loyalty missions in the game, it's possible to fail and miss out on the achievement if you make the wrong choices.

Spoilers for the mission below!

After speaking to Aria to learn that Morinth has murdered a girl named Nef, go to Nef's apartment which is near the entrance to the quarantine zone (Mordin's recruitment mission) and speak to her mother. Examine Nef's possessions to learn the name Jaruut, the drug Hallex, the vid Vaenia, and the elcor sculptor Forta.

Drop Jaruut's name to gain entry to the VIP area of Afterlife, which is located near the Omega shops. Upon entering the club, speak to a man near the entrance to learn that Morinth is interested in the band Expel 10. There are several opportunities for interaction with various patrons in the club; complete three of these interactions to get Morinth's attention.

While speaking to Morinth, mention Hallex, music and Expel 10, art and Forta, the vid Vaenia, and travel and danger. Do not mention family or Justicars because these topics will scare Morinth away.

If you either fail to attract Morinth's attention in the club or don't choose the conversation topics that interest her, she won't invite Shepard to her apartment and you will fail the mission. You'll have to either reload an earlier save or try again on another playthrough.

Once in Morinth's apartment, make sure to scan the assault rifle mounted on the wall for an upgrade, then speak to her when ready. You can side with either Samara or Morinth to complete the mission.
