Easy method. Go to settings and at accessibility options scroll all the way to the bottom and select "always on beat". Just enter a level and start shooting without getting hit. Unlocks arent disabled in this mode.
Hit streaks are combos for hitting a perfect or ok hit on an enemy while not getting shot inbetween. Make sure you calibrate your sound and video so you dont hit offbeat which will reset the counter.
Using the skull (Paz) can proof effective since he doesnt deal alot of damage so you can get more hits in on an individual enemy. Shoot via RT while rhythm indicators are overlaying, the 20 streak is a bit harder but once you get the timing right and practiced a bit this will come almost naturally. I managed to the this on the second level.
