How to unlock the Fast Track achievement in MLB The Show 21 - Definitive Guide

I recommend playing March to October on beginner difficulty without dynamic for all the related achievements.

While playing this mode you get key moments that determine player boosts and how well your team plays during innings and games that are skipped.

Around June you will get an option to call up a player from the minor leagues. Doesn't really matter what player you choose. After this, you have to play a minor league game with the player you chose and impress the office for a player boost. I went 1 for 5 in this game and still got a player boost and the achievement.

I somehow missed the opportunity for this achievement. I had a couple prompts to call a player up from the minors and send one down but no option to play a minor league game. Any ideas for my next playthrough?

There was one thing I wasn't able to test. Did you participate in the roster needs portion of the mode?

I don’t remember anything like that. Honestly I didn’t do any trades or manage my roster at all. I did swap out minor and major league players a couple times though

I got one in May for a SP. I had 12 SO, 3 sac bunts, and gave up no runs. Achievement popped right after.

I called up a player and pitched almost a perfect game. After the game ended, I got hit with server issues and no achievement.

That is why I currently can't rate this game higher than a 3. Seems like everyday the servers have issues.

I'll add some tips here,

If you fail your first opportunity, you will get another opportunity later in the year with a different player. I was 0-3 with a walk in my first opportunity and that didn't count as impressing the big league club, but pitched well in my second opportunity. Which brings me to my second tip.

Choose a pitcher if you are given the option. In my experience it's much easier to pitch 6 solid innings than get more than one hit. My final pitching line was 6.1 IP, 9K, 3R, 6H and it was good enough to get the achievement.

Went 3-5 with 2 double but I’m assuming since I lost connection with the server it’s like it never happened. No achievement for me.

Ok figured this out. It’s not a call up event it’s a player development event. You play a minor league game. You can also dashboard and quit the game at the end of the game if you didn’t do well and can try again.

^^^this. When you get a "develop player" option choose one that you are comfortable with. I chose a SP, and then struck out double digits in a cg shutout. Got network error at end of game. But after backing out and closing my game, the acjv popped on my home screen.

You don't really have to quit out or dashboard you get multiple scenarios per season June is the earliest.

Greetings from 2023... awesome description. Servers are still crappy. Nothing has changed here in the future.
