How to unlock the HOME RUN DERBY® Champ achievement in MLB The Show 21 - Definitive Guide

When setting up a Home Run Derby, set it to two participants and control both hitters using the player one controller, then simply have one hit more home runs than the other.

*Note Home Runs hit in Home Run Derby do contribute to the totals for other achievements requiring a number of Home Runs to be hit.

Anyone else having the problem where it keeps freezing can’t even get past the second pitch but it lets me pause and shit really annoying

I know you didn't mention it, but you can also drop the round times to 1 minute to make it quicker. Just make sure you don't tie with your 2 hitters, as it adds extra time.

Perfect. Used Pete Alonso (99 Power currently) from the Mets and Ronald Acuna, Jr. (97 Power currently) from the Braves with 1 minute timers and power swinging with 'X'. Held 'Y' to fast-forward to the next pitch, hit 17 Hrs in about 3 minutes.

This is pretty self-explanatory. Win the Home Run Derby. The fastest way I found was to start an offline HRD, 1 minute per round with 2 participants. Choose a HR hitter as your controlled player, choose a low level hitter as your opponent and hit more HRs than they do. After the round you will be crowned HRD Champion and receive this trophy.
