You will need the barn before you are able to complete this. The barn repair costs $800 200 wood and 200 stone and is located at the top left corner of the farm. I started seeing blue slimes in the rec center area on the 11th day. Attacking the blue slime will drop a slime that can be applied to your crops.

You can also buy blue slime for $800 at the slimery building on day 11 but that’s less effective

You can also make slimes from the coloured Crystals you get in the dungeon. 5 Crystals becomes 1 slime.

Blue Slime turns a crop into a farm animal that will be housed in your barn. Be sure to have the barn built before you attempt this - it costs $800 and you need to have 100 wood and 100 stone available to build it. You will find blue slimes rarely to kill for their essence, you can purchase it in town, or you can craft them with blue gems once you hit Level 9.
