The absolute best spot to get this is on level 12, "In the Belly". After filling the cannons with drones and overloading the furnaces, you will come to a room with a "hungry-hippo" sort of machine. It is the final part of the level and is a mini boss fight. The objective of this room is to throw drones onto the conveyor belt so that the machine eats them.
AS SOON AS you come into this room DO NOT move. Instead, take your second controller and lock onto the flying spaceship that spawns the drones. Rapidly fire at the spaceship and it will die in 1 shot. You will earn 800 points. The spaceship spawns in the same spot you killed it so just get a lock and fire away. You will get around 1600 points per SECOND and around 500 DNA! At the end of 15 minutes I had earned 384,000 DNA and 5.2million points.

Great guide, and a great spot. Worked like a charm, but you might want to mention, that you have to end the course for the achievement to pop, opposite to the DNA achievements.

The 10 million points is the total of your best scores across the 25 mission.
The best place to farm the points is scene 19 in coop mode. You'll need two controller. Just play to the point where the robot is dropping lasers and mine it you path. At this point set down the main control and start shoot the button on the robots chest. You'll get +5000 several times before Ginormica runs out of health more than offsetting the 2000 loss.
Keep redoing this segment until you have enough points. (keep in mind the DNA collected in the level give a bonus of 10 times the number collected)
If you don't have a second controller you'll need to play a missing Link level where enemy keep respawning and slowly build up your score that way.

This worked best for me. I grinded to 3 million and finished with well over 6 million. Great solution!

You can also do this on scene 16, they are basically the same level, I would also advise having all the upgrades for Ginormica's health, so then she can last all the way to the button sequence, just fail the sequence and repeat over.

You play through the level as normal until you reach a certain point, at this point a machine will continually spawn enemies until you destroy it, luckily for us you also have a machine that can kill these enemies with ease. Just don't destroy the machine that is spawning them and you can keep racking up the points here.

This achievement is actually very super easy. You'll earn about 1 million points by the time you you even get to this part in the story. But start up chapter 3 level 19 "Final lap." and have a 2nd controller connected. When you get to the boom bot section use the second controller and aim it at the bot and it will lock on to the middle part of it. Keep pressing RT or A as fast as you can and you'll earn 5000 points each time. You'll earn 5 million points in no time, I got it in about 30-60 minutes.
