Open Country

To do this I crafted a wooden spear (1 Branch and 1 Stone), shot a wolf twice with the lever action rifle (first gun you get) and then quickly equipped the spear from backpack and threw it at the wolf. I also believe the stone knife and axe could work although melee on this game is difficult and clunky.
