How to unlock the Irreplaceable Bonds achievement in Persona 5 Tactica - Definitive Guide
A Baton Pass occurs when a party member is knocked out with backup party members in reserve. Once the party member is down, they'll retreat and a menu will pop up with the remaining backup members. Choose one to do a baton pass, and do this 10 times.

If you're looking to grind this out, you can bump the difficulty to hard, have everyone get taken down in a turn, do two Batton Pass, the 'undo' in the main menu. Repeat 5 times and it's yours.

I did this on the lvl 43 replay that I was grinding for exp / money, though the AI is rather stupid even on Hard, I struggled to get 2 characters down in one turn, but consistently could get 1 down. I was using a grind team of Ann, Ryuji, and Yusuke, and out of them Ann had the least health so... sorry? I also still had good personas equipped which made them bulkier, but that was because I wanted to legitimately finish the level after doing the 10 Baton Passes. But made sure to unskill Ryuji's HP up bonus.
1: Move Toshiro into the L shape of bolts near the start and use Light of a Promise on the Revenger in the middle on the low ground. This clears all the barrels, and provokes him and the one above to come down.
2: Move Ryuji through the middle and around the corner to the right, basically just as far away as possible to not become a target. Should just get shot at from the guy above.
3: Move Yusuke through the middle and around to the left to the edge, and use Bufudyne on the barrel above, to knock the Revenger there down to the starting area.
4: Move Ann to be right in front of the middle Revenger, out of cover, to be a prime target. End turn.
On the enemy turn I was always getting it that the left Revenger would attack Ann, then move around to hit Yoshiro. Then the other two would just pummel Ann into the corner and take her out, and I'd do the swap. Then immediately use Undo, and do it again 9 more times. Then complete the level normally to get the money.

Fairly early on in Persona 5 Tactica you’ll unlock the trademark Persona “Baton Pass.” However, compared to its main game counterpart, this one behaves in an entirely different manner.
In the main game when you down an enemy by focusing on their weakness, you can use a Baton Pass to allow another character to continue the assault. However, in Persona 5 Tactica, the Baton Pass is used when a character in your active squad loses all their health and is knocked out. The Baton Pass is then used to substitute in one of your standby units to replace the now KO’d unit.
It’s worth bearing in mind, however, that you only have a set amount of Baton Passes per mission depending on which difficulty you play on. On Easy and Normal you have 3; on Hard you have 2; and on Merciless you have 1.
So, lose 10 characters across your playthrough and call in a standby unit with the Baton Pass 10 different times, and you’ll unlock the ‘Irreplaceable Bonds’ trophy.
If you’re struggling to get them by the time you get to the end of your second playthrough (we were, so had to grind this one out), just load up a Replay mission and lose characters on purpose until this unlocks.
