You have to complete the "In The Hunt" stage (Z2.0 - Deep Sea Ruins) using the submarine from "In The Hunt" (#103 - Sm-GrF GRANVIA F).
You can play in Score Attack or the main game mode, but this won't unlock unless you use BYDO difficulty or above.
EDIT: You need to kill the boss by dropping the stone blocks on it's "face". There may be a minimum number of blocks that you need to drop (when it unlocked for me, I think I hit with about 6), or you may need to ensure that the final damage is from a block ... it's hard to tell amidst the chaos.

I did it on bydo with correct ship and nothing popped gutted have to do this again when get updated.
