How to unlock the Splinter Ray achievement in Rayman Legends - Definitive Guide

This takes place on the third painting in the 20,000 Lums Under the Sea set of levels.

From what I could tell, this would not unlock unless you did the entire level straight through without being seen by a light or touching a laser. Going to the last checkpoint to correct a mistake did not work for me. It unlocked on the time when I did the entire level without being seen and without dying.

Some tips:
-Avoid doing anything you don't have to. Focus on the achievement, and not saving the teensies or the lums.
-You will have to sprint at some parts. It's almost mandatory to hold the trigger while you swim.
-If anything bad happens, just exit the level and try the whole thing again.
-Take the top route on the section with the fish on your way back. Don't go near the green flickering light. Even if you think it didn't see you as you ran under it, the game might disagree.

Getting hit by one of the frog baddies handheld lightning ball launcher guns did not void my achievement just fyi for anyone attempting this

Did this multiple times. Made sure I wasn't seen by the lights or lasers but it didn't pop. Strange.
Rushed it a few times and also very slowly... 🤔

I have done this twice now, wasn't seen and it didn't unlock. Strange. Maybe the reason only .61% of gamers have this achievement is because it refuses to unlocked.

Done it multiple times, still no achivement. Didn't get into the light nor the red lasers, or get hit by an enemy.

Mine wouldn’t pop until I changed into “splinter ray” outfit and then it popped. Perhaps this may work for others who’s achievement wouldn't pop.

didnt pop for me the first time i ran through, though i did get squished by the pistons, so maybe dying does affect it. achievement should pop upon returning to the gallery

From the menu, go right until you get to the ''20.000 lums under the sea'' painting. Now, go to the 3rd painting on you're right (4th if you count the door aswell).
From the beggining, i chose the left side first cause between the right and the left ''door'', the left one is harder. After both buttons were pressed and the lasers guarding the central door were disabled, the tricky part beggins.
Keep in mind that you don't have to rush trough this section since the laser traps are pretty easy but they can be very frustrating if you hurry and make a wrong jump or think that you have time to make a pass by one laser. I also made a video using the game dvr and i was rushing trough the level to be sure that my gameplay of this level doesn't get bigger than 5 min, which is the time limit of a video record at this date (hopefully, in a future dashboard update, the limit will be raised to 30 min) and I got extremely lucky at the end. To make sure you don't get touced by the last laser, after jumping from the first ring to the second one, press cn_LSd and you should be safe since none of the lasers can touch you under the last ring.
And after that, ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.

Your video guide is much better. There's a lot of places you can hide for a second between lights and lasers, so you can get your bearings and plan your next move. This video shows all that. Great work. That was close there at 3:09!! I love using that slide move under the lasers.

There seems to be a misunderstanding that you don't have to die in this particular level. You can die in this level as long as you are not killed by any laser. I unlocked it today exactly this way. Didn't have to replay to get a perfect run.

Mansion of the Deep can be found in 20,000 Lums Under the Sea. You'll need to be careful making your way through the level dodging all sentry lights and lasers. If the lights turn red for even a fraction of a second you'll need to completely exit the level and try again, for some reason selecting to restart the level after setting off an alarm or touching a laser can void the trophy.

If you've completed the level and the trophy hasn't popped, this might be your problem:

In the room on the left of the lift, continue on as normal and after turning off the electricity further in you need to head back towards the lift area. In the part where you need to jump up to the higher level to avoid the sentry lights, make sure not to touch the lightbulb that is up there. Even if you smashed it on your first run through that room, if you step on it it will sometimes set off an alarm for a split second (the sentry light below you quickly flashes red) and nulls this trophy. Jump over it and continue on your way.

Also be careful not to fall into the fish tank in that area too, if you fall in here it counts as an alarm so be wary!

In the "Mansion of the Deep" level in the "20.000 Lums Under the Sea" World painting, there will be several lasers and lights through the level. You have to avoid all of them to unlock the achievement. The video below is the best explanation possible:

An unpleasant moment of achievement is that the most difficult part with lasers is at the very end of the level and in case of a jamb you will have to start all over again.

In the left door, when you return, do not break the light bulb above the aquarium, but simply jump over, otherwise the game will count that the light hit you.

The main thing is not to rush. All lasers at the end are divided into groups of 3-4 beams. The most reasonable tactic: stop, watch how the lasers move and carefully jump. Most go through the following scheme: jump over - freeze - wait, bend down or hang on a hook - jump further.
In the left room, I was electrocuted by a toad on a string - they gave me a trophy.

If you get stuck, you'll have to restart the level through the painting.

There is nothing difficult in the level, you just don’t need to try to collect anything, you can’t hit any lasers or light, but you can die or be damaged by something else, I passed and was killed by a monster in the second door, reached the end and

In the left door, on the way back, you need to go through the top; if you go through the bottom, the prize does not count. I couldn’t get through it for four days, that’s the only thing I changed and they gave me the prize.
