How to unlock the Supreme Teen achievement in Resident Evil Village - Definitive Guide
I highly recommend a Casual/Standard playthrough before attempting Hardcore. HC is not particularly difficult, but knowing what to expect and where to go helps reduce frustration.
DLC can be broken down into 3 parts:
First hour or so is getting your gear together and dancing around the stupid Dementor-wannabes.
Not much to say about it, use your pistol generously on regular enemies and save all Shotgun-ammo for the bosses.
Make sure to pick up the larger magazine (available after getting your pimple popper powers, impossible to miss since you run past it) AND the compensator in Dukes old room in the castle (the Monocular key is required to open the briefcase).
The magazine will give you 16 bullets for free if you empty your pistol before combining the 2.
Thoroughly explore everything and doublecheck your map if everything is colored blue ( I had 3 bits still red, but those were chase-areas) before moving on to the Executioner.
The Executioner isn't that bad as long as you have 2 Pipebombs to immediately get rid of the 2 Duos that spawn in with Phase 2 and 3. Otherwise, just bait an attack or stun him, unload Shotty 3 times on him. gg 2ez.
Donna 2.0 is just straight up boring ( just like the first time on replays), but drawn out way longer. Good luck..?
Once you're through that, you can pretty much sprint to Miranda in a straight line. Shove anything in your way aside or shoot with the pistol from a distance. I'd recommend the first option.
Now, if you still had Tutorial notifs turned off like me on my first playthrough you probably missed that Rose briefly turns into Vergil (from the Devil May Cry™ series) cappable of side-dodging (+) , throwing Mole-tentacles to knock Miranda out of the sky (+) and parrying or rather absorbing the golden projectiles of her ()to recharge the tentacles. Simply parry shortly before impact, window is pretty generous.
Takes about 10 minutes, but at this point you should have plenty of medkits and without royal fuckups you shouldn't need more than 1 or 2.
Knock her out of the sky, unload shotty, rinse repeat.
Overall 3/10 difficulty if you know where to go - not even remotely close to the bullshit levels of SoV or Mercenaries.
One last thing, the REmake 3-guy was in charge of death-animations. If you know you're fucked, hit restart and save yourself some seconds.

I was disappointed to see you don't unlock anything in order to help you through your Hardcore playthrough like in the regular game. But this shouldn't be too bad to do either.

It really isn't - as long as you thoroughly pick anything clean you'll be drowning in ressources.

CarcinogenSDAs video. Difficulty is very easy when you know how to route it which carci shows near perfectly
You can start the hardcore run right from the start, the difficulty-trophies do stack, and if you have finished the main game, I would recommend you to do so immediately on your first run. The DLC isn't too hard, and you have plenty of ammunition with crafting and collecting, especially if you play stealthier.
The first big hurdle is going to be the first bossfight against the executioner. Most enemies up until that point can be dealt with without killing them, most won't follow through certain doors, with the exception of a few nuisances here or there. I would advise to use your special freeze powers and run along and skip most enemies, but you can kill them, if you want to. Like I said, there's plenty of ammunition. When you reach the executioner, in his three phases, he will take around 9-12 shots of the shotgun to his weakspot until he is finished. Throw some pipe bombs to kill the few straggling enemies, and you will be over in no time. No reason to play conservatively here, go all out guns blazing, use everything you have. The next part after this is a lot of puzzle stuff akin to the doll house in the main game. Straight up running and hiding - horror galore.
The last part is going to be leading up to the final boss, where you mostly just need to run, don't even bother shooting the enemies, if some pop up. Use your souped up R1 powers, if you get in a tight spot. Once you reach the final boss, don't bother shooting with the pistol too much. Get your Mycete-meter full, either through absorbing projectiles with L1 or via spriggs and bunches of the white herb. Then press forward L1 + Circle and knock Miranda out, run to her, and blast her three times with the shotgun. Do this basically in varying stages up to four times and you should be literally golden.
The hardcore run took me 2h 45mins end-count, but there was quite a lot of reloading and going through the puzzles and harder parts all by myself, since nobody uploaded any videos yet, so you could shave off some frustrating parts there. :)

Is there any way to use infinite ammo on this dlc like in the base game?
By ClaudioChamp on 29 Oct 2022 05:17
@ClaudioChamp: Not that I know. But like I said, you won't be really needing that. It's not hard, I have faith in you. :)

in fact, quite adequate complexity, feel free to choose! I’m far from a hardcore person myself, and I’m not good at laying, but I actually didn’t experience any problems.

In the castle, where you need to collect 3 masks, try to avoid enemies and save ammo. You will need them very much on the boss. In the following locations the difficulty is not so noticeable.
