How to unlock the May Be Used Against You achievement in RoboCop: Rogue City - Definitive Guide
In this guide we will show you how to hack a turret to earn the "May Be Used Against You" Achievement/Trophy in RoboCop: Rogue City.
During the "Cyber Trail" quest, which is part of the main quest "The Man Himself", you are going to explore the sewers of Detroit. Inside the sewers you will encounter several armored mercenaries, as well as some turrets, placed in strategic locations in the corridors.
In order to earn the "May Be Used Against You" Achievement/Trophy you will need to hack one of these turrets. For this process you will need to have invested at least 2 skill points in Engineering, otherwise it will be impossible to hack the turrets. In the sewers you will find an OCP Disk, which can be used to upgrade your Engineering, and maybe the xp you earn will be enough to earn you another skill point, but to be 100% sure, it is advisable to have upgraded your Engineering before entering the sewers.
Now, inside this stage you have two opportunities to hack a turret, and in fact we've recorded both of them to give you as much help as possible to earn the Achievement/Trophy. To hack a turret you need to get in close proximity and hack the computer that controls it. At the first turret you encounter you will have to take its fire during this process, so if you are playing on any of the higher difficulty levels you will be in trouble. Instead, a little further on, after taking out the mercenaries, you can make a left turn and take cover behind the wall to hack a turret at your leisure.
If you didn't manage to hack any of these turrets, you'll have another chance in the last level of the game, though your task there will be more difficult. Ideally load one of your auto-saves or saves before entering the sewers to get the Achievement/Trophy in this stage.

You don't need skill points in engineering to do it
Once you enter the sewers in the mission cyber trail you will come across turrets.
After the 1st turret you destroy continue on and you'll come across a second turret. Run to the left and you'll see a laptop on the floor it'll prompt you to press x to hack.
edit 12/10/23: apparently you need at least 2 points in engineering to do it. not sure how much i had but it wasnt 6 and not sure why its 2 but thats what people are saying. so put 2 points in engineering to be safe

You need at least 2 in engineering. Not 6, but I just tried to do it and I have zero points in engineering so I can't do jack 😢

Can be done starting from the Cyber Trail mission in the sewers.
Get to Engineering Level 6.
Whenever you find a turret, you can scan the area, which will highlight cables running from the turret to a computer nearby.
Use the computer to hack the turret.
(PSA : you're vulnerable while using the computer and may die from turret fire in certain cases.)

Note that hacking an enemy turret requires 6 skill points in Engineering. Read that section of the roadmap for more information on skill point allocation.
To my knowledge, there are only two opportunities to hack an enemy turret.
The first and easiest is during the main mission "Cyber Trail," which is around three quarters of the way through the game. During this mission, you'll proceed into the sewers from Downtown. As you progress, you'll encounter your first turret, which you'll need to destroy. Immediately after it is another turret, and off to the left side in an alcove is a computer you can interact with to hack the turret (as long as you have 6 points in Engineering). Sprint over to it and hack it. See my clip below.

The only other place I've seen the option to hack a turret is during the penultimate main mission, when you're chasing Wendal through his new town. This is tougher though because if you shoot and destroy the turret by accident during the gun fight, you can't hack it. Use the spot shown above and make sure you don't shoot the turret before hacking it.

You need to upgrade the 'Breach' skill (6 skill points) in the 'Engineering' branch. The first turret appears in the sewers after a hotel fire near the end of the game.

The turret is connected to the laptop with a cable. To hack, you need to influence it.
