Max level for a single character is level 50.
This one is simple, just level up a single character to 'level 51' and you will receive this.
Characters cannot go beyond level 50, but each fill of the xp bar beyond 50 increases their base stats, which is what this achievement is referring to.
Note, you can simply level them up with stock XP at the dojo, and that will count as well.
