How to unlock the Bouncy achievement in Sea of Stars - Definitive Guide
For this achievement, you need to use Valere's skill called Moonerang.
When you use this skill, Valere launches a boomerang and you have to press spacebar/A when it comes back to you to make it bounce again towards the enemy.
The counter goes up each time the boomerang hits someone, so when it hits an enemy it also counts towards the 25 bounces.
It gets faster and faster so it all comes down to timing. The farther the enemy is, the longer it takes for the boomerang to go back and forth so you have more breathing time between two hits. Also, trying this in fights with more than one enemy makes it trickier because the timing changes depending on the distance between you and the different enemies.
This is why I suggest trying this in a fight with a single enemy who is far away from you on the battleground.
I did it early in the game, during the
There's a save right before that boss if you need to retry.
As suggested by Tryum in the comments, the boss called
is also a good place to try.
You'll know you nailed 25 hits in a row because the skill automatically stops after the 25th. Achievement unlocked ~5 seconds after.

It's ridiculous that TA lumps console players with PC players on most games. Look, play where you want, but to not acknowledge Achievements are far, far easier on PC with M&K is insane. Lazy TA, lazy.

Most bosses will work for this as they're usually far away.

For some reason I really struggled with this - tried and tried but couldn't get more than 15/16. Eventually got it against Botanical Horror on NG+. Took out all but the left-hand pod, then just had to bounce off that and the main body - Valere went to the far right of the screen so gave me much longer to get the bounce, got it first attempt. Finally!!

This is a good boss for it. Although it can be done with any combination of enemies, typically a single target works best, as the distance remains the same per bounce, so the rhythm remains simpler than any combination of 2+ enemies. Each bounce becomes faster than the last, and distance between the target and Valere matters also. After a dozen plus strikes, it also becomes button mashing, but you can go too fast also, but use it enough and it'll eventually work out.

Moonerang is one of Valere's skills, which involves using perfectly timed presses of to deflect her moonerang at opponents. You can do this indefinitely so long as you keep doing it at the right time, but the moonerang will speed up with each successive deflection, to a point where you're essentially just mashing and hoping for the best. I found this easiest to do against a group of three enemies that were all on the same side of the group. I've also had some long streaks against bosses that are far away from the group. It really just takes some practice, and once it hits top speed you'll want to hit the button as soon as you hear the moonerang connect with the enemy - her deflection lasts a half a second and will still be up when it comes back. I'd suggest saving with full MP and engaging some enemies, then just returning to the main menu and reloading your save to keep trying over and over until you nail it, or just keep attempting it as the game progresses and you'll get there in time. Below is an example of the three enemy approach.
You should get this trophy naturally during your numerous fights. This trophy requires you to hit enemies for a total of 25 times in a row with Valere's Moonerang ability.
This may take a few attempts but since you will be using this ability many times, chances are that you will make it before finishing the game.

Valerie has a skill: Moon Rang. You need to use the skill and hit the boomerang 25 times on the button

The easiest way, in my opinion, is to do it on the Leaf Monster. Even though my hands are crooked, it worked out.

To make it easier to hit the boomerang, you need to look at Valerie, and not at the boomerang itself, and when it is close, press .

I tried to get this trophy in every battle, and finally got it at the 8th hour of the game. The easiest way to do it is on a boss, if there is only 1 target for attack, so that it flies away from the same place
