How to unlock the Well read (to) achievement in Sea of Stars - Definitive Guide
There are 12 stories to read to unlock this achievement. You will need to find an artifact for each story to give to Teaks. I added timestamps to help you find the artifacts.
0:00 The Vespertine (Main Story Unmissable)
0:21 The Great Summoning (Ancient Molekin Cloak in Stonemasons Outpost)
0:45 The Three Sisters (Romaya's Hairpin in Necromancer's Lair)
1:00 Mooncradle & The Elder Mist (Celestial Willow Leaf in Mooncradle)
1:20 The Vampire Rose (Stone Tablet Piece in Jungle Path)
1:50 The Nomads of the Seas (Old Coral Vase in Docarri Village)
2:28 The Two Alchemists (Main Story Unmissable)
2:39 The Clockwork Castle (Cog Prototype outside Clockwork Castle)
2:59 Khukharr The Unyielding (Cloudy Shard in Cloud Kingdom)
3:22 Es’tristae (Broken Handle in Es’tristae’s Lookout)
3:41 The Cerulean Expedition. After beating the Dweller of Dread, just rest (anywhere is fine) and talk to Seraï. She will give you the Joce's Belt Buckle. Do this now; don't wait until after you've beaten the game, or you will have to start a NG+. This is the only missable achievement, and I believe the developers should patch it to make it unmissable.
4:40 Paradise Lost (Aventry Crest in Flooded Graveyard. You have to do the Duke Aventry Quest first.)
0:00 The Vespertine (Main Story Unmissable)
0:21 The Great Summoning (Ancient Molekin Cloak in Stonemasons Outpost)
0:45 The Three Sisters (Romaya's Hairpin in Necromancer's Lair)

Just to clarify, do you mean Joce's Belt Buckle is the only missable artifact? Can the rest be backtracked in the post game?

@JohnnieMonkey Sorry for my late reply, I've just seen your message. Yes, this is the only one you can miss during your first playthrough. I wanted to emphasize this point because, in an interview, the developers stated that there were no missable achievements, saying that only the ''What a technique!'' achievement requires starting a NG+. Actually, even this isn't entirely 'true' as you can sequence break to unlock this achievement in a single playthrough. I've also created a guide for this achievement.

Campfire stories are told by Teaks at any camp (if she is available to you during that portion of the story). Once you find a collectible from the list below, you can speak with Teaks and a new story will be available for her to tell you. Once you have a heard a story, it will turn from white to grey on the list so you can track it easily. The full list of these locations can be found below, and in the collectible guide linked in the Road Map.
- The Vespertine - story related
- The Great Summoning - Stonemasons Outpost, in a chest (Ancient Molekin Cloak)
- The Three Sisters - Necromancer's Lair, in a chest (Romaya's Hairpin)
- The Vampire Rose - Jungle Path, secret area behind a waterfall as you climb up above the large stone head (Stone Tablet Piece)
- The Nomads of the Seas - Lake Docarria, in a chest through whirpool in the shop (Old Coral Vase)
- The Two Alchemists - story related
- The Clockwork Castle - Clockwork Castle, chest on the right side of the bottom section (Cog Prototype)
- Khukharr The Unyielding - Cloud Kingdom, chest right next to Puntie (Cloudy Shard)
- Mooncradle & The Elder Mist - Mooncradle, chest next to the Celestial Willow Tree (Celestial Willow Leaf)
- Es’tristae - Es’tristae’s Lookout, chest right at the entrance (Broken Handle)
- Paradise Lost - Aventry’s Tomb, complete his side-quest (Aventry Crest)
- The Cerulean Expedition - Vespertine, speak to Seria (Joyce’s Belt Buckle)
Once you've found every collectible and given them to Teaks, as well as selected the story and gone through all the dialogue of each from her menu, the achievement will unlock.
Missable (?)
To get this trophy, you have to listen to all Teak's stories. In order to unlock them, you have to find artifacts and then speak with Teak while resting at a campfire.
All artifacts can be found inside chests, so you will get them while going for Measure Hunter . I will list here the only artifacts that can't be found inside chests.

- The Vespertine and The Two Alchemists: this are two stories that are unlocked by default
- Stone Tablet Piece: In Jungle Path, you should find a large waterfall. Go behind it and enter the cave. Once inside, interact with the stone tablet.
- Cloudy Shard: In Cloud Kingdom, right next to Puntie.
- Aventry Crest: Automatically received once you open the coffin of Duke Avery. See Free from serviduke description under New Garl +
- Joce's Belt Buckle: This is the only "missable" artifact in the game. Once you defeat the Dweller of dread, be sure to speak with Serai while resting at a campfire. She will give you this last artifact. This artifact will be missed if you unlock New Garl +

In general, finding chests with items for stories should not be a problem. There are 2 items that can be problematic: Item received from Seraya: Camp by the fire when you are in her world and talk to her. After the conversation, you will receive the item and you can get the story. And from Duke Aventi: can only be obtained after gaining the ability to fly on the world map. Here you need to come to the “flooded cemetery” and go into the cave to the left of the entrance to the “necromancer’s lair” and take a photo of three seals: purple, green and red, then leave the cemetery and fly in the north-east direction and an island will land and put these symbols on the rest should be simple. After this, the coat of arms can be picked up in the “flooded cemetery” location in the southwestern edge of the map if you go from the ferryman

As the story progresses, you will meet an NPC who will tell you stories around the fire. To open new stories you need to find the corresponding items
