How to unlock the Area hog achievement in SUPER BOMBERMAN R ONLINE - Definitive Guide
Figured I'd add a quick guide for the boosting methold to do this, as the group I just did this with in a private match had a tiny bit of confusion. Only one person needs to have bought the 10 dollar pack to set up a private match, anyone else they invite does not have to have bought it as well.
First of all, you'll need at least five players, my group had seven. So we had four players in one room, three in the other. Two players can get this a match. You want to pick two players, one from each room to stay alive. Everyone else will just kill themselves with their own bombs two times. After this the two surviving players will have a message show up that says they dominated the room, and they will both move to the second room together. Then a short timer will start counting down, telling players to get to a safe area. But instead, both players want to get to an unsafe area covered by the oncoming falling blocks, so when the timer ends, they will both die by the falling blocks, and it will end in a draw, and pop the achievements for Area Hog, and Blocks From Above for both players. Plus of course the players killing themselves will also get the Self-destruction achievement if they didn't already have it.
Then you just pick the next two players until everyone has it, pretty simple.

This achievement is for killing every player (being the last one standing) in an area in battle 64. There are 16 areas with 4 people in each (until you time runs out and it's time to move then Multiple people can cram into a room)
If you paid for Premium then you have access to Unique characters and those characters have special abilities (the same if you're familiar with them from Super Bomberman R which was games with gold at one point)
.
Pyramid Head is the easiest as players don't seem to realize if you active his ability () you can kill people by walking into them. You move incredibly slow so be aware.
If you don't want to pay then just use your best Bomberman abilities to take everyone out.
You have two lives and can pick up more
NOTE: All achievements can be done in Private Matches. You must start a match with 5 players as the game starts 4 to an area and you default to the final arena if 4 or less are present.
Free Users can join private matches but not host them.

During a Battle 64 match, you will be tasked with eliminating other players in any one of the sixteen maps during the battle phase and by normal means, you will start with three other players in the map you start out in, especially if you're playing in a quick match.
The best way to go about this trophy when playing in quick matches is to keep it cool and safe while placing your bombs accordingly but be sure to avoid being anywhere near spaces where any of your opponents' bombs are placed since the explosion's radius is determined by how much firepower they have. When all of your opponents are eliminated (provided if they are in their last life), you will see an Area Dominated message on the screen, along with a plethora of items you can collect as your reward for being the sole survivor of that area. You can also trigger this if you are the only player in one of the sixteen areas by the time any movement phase ends throughout the current match. You can also boost this in private matches but you will need to have at least five or more players in your room so be sure to plan these sessions accordingly.
As the trophy description says, you will need to dominate any map of the arena by being the only person left on it in order to unlock it but keep in mind that this won't be unlocked until the match is over.
