How to unlock the 1st Stage Cleared achievement in Super Night Riders - Definitive Guide

Select race! -- Classic -- Course - Course 1- and drive until you reach a checkpoint. I had about 4 seconds left on the timer when I hit the check point. This check point resets the countdown clock. Achievement took about 10 seconds to pop after I hit the checkpoint.
