How to unlock the Unshackled achievement in The Ascent - Definitive Guide

This side mission becomes available after completing the "making concessions" side mission. It will be given by the same NPC who gave the previous one. NW corner of the canary mech factory. Go up the elevator and head into the room with SAM at the entrance

I had them concurrently running as well. Just finished Unshackled prior to Making Concessions, so it's definitely not a prerequisite.

Both these quests unshackled and making concessions are bugged. You talk to both Sam and griggs, the yellow square shows up. But the side quests aren't there in the side missions tab, so they aren't being tracked, but if u talk to them it is as if you already started their quests. The yellow square shows you thart area regardless.

See HERE for more info on this side quest. This will take you back to the main map from the base game for a bit, but otherwise is very simple.

Login to the quest using your character's tag. Because for a long time I couldn’t find where the last quest was, the mark for it only appears if you get very close to the entrance.
