How to unlock the Dodo Re Mi: Beginner’s Pluck achievement in The Jackbox Party Pack 10 - Definitive Guide
Maybe I just suck at rhythm games (though years playing Rock Band says otherwise), but I found this one challenging (definitely the hardest of the Dodo Re Mi achievements by a mile). Took me probably half a dozen tries in total and even then I feel like I barely pulled it off.
This is for surviving (scoring high enough) on the Tutorial Song so that at the end of the song you don't get eaten. It's a 5-lane song, with a lot of chords (multiple lanes at once) which is actually pretty tricky.
I did it on a keyboard on a laptop, maybe you'll find it easier on a tablet or phone. When I did it, I customized the keys (when picking the song there's a "Customize" button right above the "play song" button), and changed them to be:
F J K L semicolon
I then rested my left index finger on F, and placed my four fingers from my right hand on J through semicolon. I found this helped as then the only time I had to use my left hand at all was when the leftmost lane came up. Still don't feel like I did well, but apparently did well enough to not get eaten.
Not sure what the exact score cutoff is, but (as the tutorial teaches) getting Perfect on notes gets more points, not missing notes, and no extra presses all contribute towards score. I believe streaks help (continuous notes where you don't miss any or hit invalid notes) as well, but the game doesn't make this super clear one way or the other

Instead of trying to get every single button press right, you can just press all 5 buttons at the same time, you don't get penalized for that lol just gotta time it to get as many perfects as possible
