How to unlock the Everybody Likes Me achievement in The Outer Worlds - Definitive Guide

- You can check your Status with each faction in the Menu under 
CHARACTER | REPUTATION

- Once you get 3 factions at least 75% on the Positive side you'll get the achievement

- This will come naturally if you make an effort to just help out everybody and accept all quests. You'll notice the Reputation Increase notification that pops up after helping people from that faction/community

Okay, so I have been making sure to pick up and complete side-quests as often as possible (9 hours in ish) and this Achievement popped for me with the following Reputation:

Primary

Groundbreaker - Revering - 87% Positive, 1% Negative
Iconoclasts - Neutral - 0% Positive, 0% Negative
Monarch Stellar Industries - Neutral - 0% Positive, 0% Negative
SubLight Salvage & Shipping - Neutral - 0% Positive, 0% Negative
The Board - Neutral - 9% Positive, 0% Negative

Secondary

Deserters - Revering - 100% Positive, 0% Negative
Spacer's Choice - Nervous - 96% Positive, 100% Negative

I'm not sure if this is a bug or what. I tried to remain on the good side of everybody (but diverted Geothermal Plant power to the Botanical Lab, depriving Edgewater of power).

I know it's not a perfect guide but it seems to be simple enough, just keep questing I guess, lol.

You can get both spacers choice and deserters to 100% by doing all side quests and diverting power to Edge Water and then convincing the deserters to return by asking Reed to leave (peacefully) leaving you with only one needed. That will leave with just one more to get.

Just popped this with Groundbreaker, Saver’s Choice and Deserters all at 100% positive. I diverted power to the Deserters but have done loads of side quests for Saver’s Choice so they are still friendly

I believe the threshold is around 75%. I had two factions at 100% (Revering), 3 factions below 75% (Friendly). The achievement popped when I got MSI to 75% (Still Friendly).

Filthy casual, lmao. Just kidding ofc. It's in the menu on the character tab, amongst many other tabs. Lots of tabs in this game. Almost a game in itself.

The achievement unlocks when three factions have a positive rating of at least 75% simultaneously. In other words, provided you attain a positive rating of 75% or greater with two factions, and do not degrade those ratings below 75%, the achievement will pop when the third faction hits 75%.

To see your rating, press cn_back to bring up the inventory screen press cn_LB to tab to Character and cn_LT to tab to the Reputation screen. On the left side, the factions are shown in two groups: Primary and Secondary. Factions in both groups qualify for the achievement. On the right side, the positive and negative status is shown. Only the positive status is relevant to the achievement—it must be at least 75%.

Ideally, one would like the status to be revering. However, that is not necessary. A nervous status with 75% positive and 85% negative would qualify a faction for the achievement.

The first location in the game, Emerald Vale, has two factions: Spacer’s Choice and The Deserters. You complete two main story quests—Stranger in a Strange Land and Comes Now the Power. Your actions will have consequences. To minimize the adverse effects and maximize positive reputation, perform the following side quests:
  • A Small Grave Matter
  • Die, Robot
  • Fistful of Digits
  • A Few Kindred Spirits
  • The Frightened Engineer
  • The Long Tomorrow
  • At Central
  • Why Call Them Back From Retirement
You have to make a decision whether to divert power to the Biolab or Edgewater. Additionally, you influence the Deserters to remain in place or return to Edgewater. Finally, you can persuade Reed to step down or remain in charge. You can, provided you maintained a positive tone with everyone you dealt with, achieve a 75% or better rating with both factions. The ‘best’ ending of the game has the power diverted to Edgewater, the Deserters returning to Edgewater, and Reed continuing to head up the facility.

When you leave Emerald Vale, your next destination is Groundbreaker. It is more straightforward because you can maximize the faction’s rating without antagonizing another faction. The main story quest branches to one of two paths: Passage to Anywhere or Balance Due. Regardless of which path you choose, the following side quests are available:
  • Happiness is a warm spaceship
  • Solution Vital
  • The Distress Signal
  • The Silent Voices
  • Who Goes There
  • Weapons From the Void
As with Emerald Vale, work on both main and side quests to increase your reputation with Groundbreaker. Note that, whereas the above side quests all originate on Groundbreaker, you must travel off station to complete some of them. The achievement will pop when the Groundbreaker positive status hits 75% assuming you achieved at least a 75% rating with both Spacer’s Choice and the Deserters.

Whereas Spacer's Choice, The Deserters, and Groundbreaker are the first three factions in the game; you need not rely on any or all of them for the achievement. As shown in the illustration above, there are quite a few other factions you could rely on. Sublight Salvage and Shipping, for example, is a particularly easy faction to earn a revering status of 100%. You encounter its rep on Groundbreaker. If you work on Sublight's side quests at the earliest opportunity, you could easily max out their rep and pop the achievement before you attain 75% with Groundbreaker.

When you get to a new settlement complete every quest you can find.
Groundbreaker, Roseway and Edgewater are the easiest.

Edgewater
• Side with Edgewater and then convince the workers to return to town.
• Send all power to Edgewater via this quest.
• Do Vicar Max's companion quest.
• Complete "The Frightened Engineer" then search for Zoe.
• Wipe out all the Marauders
• All side quests completed
• Grave diggers quest
• Engineers quest
• Side quest at the Edgewater landing pad
• Find Zoe
• During the Grave digger quest, complete the Plague survivors quest and return the medicene to the security officer not the hypercondriac.
• Finish Parvati's companion/side quests
• The Doctors quest during Grave Diggers quest.
• Help the people of the town (normally short occurances solved verbally)

Parties of interest:
Reed Tobson of the Board/Edgewater
The Deserters of the Botanical Garden.

Groundbreaker
• Send Ellie's friend in to slavery instead of paying her debts (paying her debts also raises acceptance, although seemingly not as much)
• Complete all side quests
• Medical bay has one
• Junlei has one to do with the heating onboard. Ask her about it whilst taking Parvati to meet her.
• Max has a companion quest here
• Parvati has companion quests here, the one gettting the dishes does not need to be finished for the trophy however as it concludes off world.
• Help everyone
• kill all rabbid creatures and Outlaws.
• Don't lie when introducing yourself, IE use real name not Hawthrone.
• Tell the truth to the board about Hawthornes death
• Say sorry for your loss
• Unlock Ellie by completing her Companion quest
• Talk to all vendors (not sure if this actually 100% Counts but did get notifications saying it'd improved)

Sublight Deliveries
The Groundbreaker
The Board

Roseway
• Defend the town from the wildlife
• keep as many guards alive as possible
• During the side quest with finding secrets:
• Give the gun schematics back
• Hand back the toothpaste research (I didn't and still maxed it out)
• Hand back the final piece lf research
• Kill all Marauders whilst hunting down the toothpaste research, kill the ringleader with them.
• Clear out the wildlife from the same labs.
• Kill any maraduers you meet
• Act nicely to everyone
• Complete all other side quests

Interest parties:
The Board
Sublight Deliveries


It goes witthout saying that you can not commit any crimes like pickpocket of theft during this time. Murdering random people also turns the Groundbreaker in particularly pretty much hostile imediately. Don't get caught tresspassing.

Note
You can see your reputation progress by heading to your character screen by pressing the touchpad and then hit L2 to view Reputation progress.

I'll update when I've come across a a new planet incase yours hasn't unlocked.

Monarch
•Help the Iconoclasts
•Help MSI
•Complete the main quest involving the Information Broker
•Gain the powercell from the crashed vessel
•Choose Iconoclasts to have it.
•Kill MSI

Parties of interest:
MSI
Iconoclasts

Helping these two parties giving them everything (includong optional objectives) make both love you similtaneously. When you decide the Iconoclasts are better for Monarch than MSI. MSI will become neautral. But if you use this planet to boost it if you're still missing the trophy, it won't void it.

*MISSABLE*

For this achievement, you must have three factions at 85% or above in positive reputation at the same time. You don't need to hit a full 100% standing with them for it to count. The first three factions in the game are probably the easiest, so do every side-quest for Spacer's Choice and the Deserters in Emerald Vale, then fix up all the issues on Groundbreaker for the third. Unless you play as a jerk character, it's tough to not get friendly with factions if you're doing a ton of quests for experience.

Complete all side quests at the 2 camps at the starting location. And as soon as you arrive on the ship’s trail, it will be enough to go through a chain of quests to repair the cooling system.

100% is not necessary. You need the status "Respectful" attitude, which is assigned from 75+%

Be careful when creating a character, the ATTRACTIVENESS parameter affects the speed of gaining reputation, for me it was 60-65%. Attractiveness was below average.
